The Magic of Ponyland Christmas Special 2

David: Now enough of this nonsense. *Wipes her tears*

Megan: I'll ask Santa to come here with Rudolph.

Minty: *Hearing a fanfare* Oh its time to put the "Here comes Christmas" candy cane on the tree. *They head out*

Rainbow Dash: Last year I was the M.C of the "Here comes Christmas" decorating committee. This year its Pinkie Pie. Ladies and Gentlemen and ponies Pinkie Pie.

Pinkie Pie: Thanks everyone. *Sees Minty with her eyes still red from crying* You gonna be O.K girl?

Minty: I guess.

Fluttershy: Don't be so hard on yourself.

Apple Bloom: Minty no be sad. *Hugs Minty*

Minty: Thanks Apple Bloom. Your not mad at me for breaking your candy cane are you?

Apple Bloom: Of course not. *She smiles*

Pinkie Pie: Now this year we made a special gift for Santa. Made by Sweet Berry. A candy cane. *They bring it out* Now we're gonna leave it wrapped so it stays fresh for Christmas Eve.

Minty: As long as I don't break it.

Pinkie Pie: Enough Minty. *Nuzzles her* Sure you're clumsy.

Windwhistler: I'll never forget the year you were born. It was a cold Christmas Eve. About the same time Christmas Miracle was born. *The elders show it*

Minty's dad in the past: This waiting is killing me. *Crying can be heard in the next room*

Nurse: Its a baby girl.

Windwhistler: Christmas Miracle named you. He thought "Minty" fit perfectly. We used to call you "Bumpy Minty" because when you were learning to walk you'd bump into everything.

Baby Gusty: Think we can bring back to life another good friend?

Megan: Don't see why not. *They build a snowpony*

David: They built a snowpony.

Baby Gusty: Now for the finishing touches. Hope I can still work my magic. *They put a hat on his head* Here goes.

David: What's she gonna do?

Megan: Watch. She's going to bring a legend here again.

David: Legend? You mean Frosty the snowman?

Minty: Who?

David: Frosty the snowman. Watch Baby Gusty and you'll see. *She focuses and just like the last time the hat starts to glow and suddenly the snowpony comes to life*

Frosty: Happy Birthday.

Baby Gusty: Still got.

Minty: Mind telling me what's going on here?

David: Megan can I do the honors?

Megan: Sure.

Frosty the Snowman (Sang by David):

David: Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul,
With a corncob pipe and a button nose
And two eyes made out of coal.
Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale, they say,
He was made of snow but the children
Know how he came to life one day.
There must have been some magic in that
Old silk hat they found.

Frosty the snowman knew

He led them down the streets of town
Right to the traffic cop.
And he only paused a moment when
He heard him holler "Stop!"
For Frosty the snow man
Had to hurry on his way,
But he waved goodbye saying,
"Don't you cry,
I'll be back again some day."

Look at Frosty go.

Over the hills of snow.

Frosty: Well looks like someone knows about me. Let's see if I have learned to count yet. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 12 14 18. *They all laugh* Ha ha. Guess I haven't fully learned how to count yet. But hey I counted to 8 that's a start.

Rudolph: Hey Frosty.

Frosty: Hey Rudolph. Came to see the little ponies huh?

Rudolph: Yep. 1 especially. Her name is Minty.

Frosty: Who is she?

Rudolph: She's right over there. The 1 with the peppermint candy as her cutie mark. *He scratches his head*

Frosty: What's a cutie mark?

Megan: Still don't know a whole lot yet either huh?

Frosty: Guess not.

David: These are cutie marks Frosty. *Points at the mark on Twilight Sparkle* Each tells you what they are good at.

Frosty: Cool.

David: This is Minty. *Points at her*

Minty: Don't mind me Frosty. I'm nobody.

Frosty: Why are you so wishy-washy?

David: She's a bit clumsy.

Frosty: Well that's no reason to be all wishy-washy. If you get all wishy-washy I'm not happy. You wouldn't want you new friend Frosty to be sad do you?

Minty: No.

Frosty: Then smile. *She kind of smiles* No no no. Not like that. That's not a happy smile.

Santa: Do you know my rules Minty?

Minty: In a way. No pouting, crying, be nice and no sad faces.

Santa: Now what rule are you breaking by being sad?

Minty: No sad faces. *He nods* But if only you knew what all has happened.

Santa: It can't be that bad. *Baby Ribbon comes up winking in and out perfectly* I see your using your gift perfectly Baby Ribbon.

Baby Ribbon: Yes. *Hugs him* Thanks Santa.

Santa: Aw gee.

Just then a baby pony comes up. Its Baby Shady:

David: Hi Baby Shady. *She keeps her mouth closed* Baby Shady what's wrong?

Shady: Show him. *She does and she has 2 missing front teeth*

Baby Shady: *Talking with a lisp* See why I have my mouth closed. I lost this 1 a week ago and this 1 yesterday.

Santa: Bet you I know what you want for Christmas huh?

Baby Shady: Well.....

Santa: Aw Baby Shady losing your teeth is just a part of growing up.

Baby Shady: Still want them.

Santa: Tell ya what. Look under the tree this year and you might have a surprise. *Winks* I have an idea. Wanna see another 1 of my friends from up North?

Baby Shady: Sure. *Gasps* Is it Yukon Cornelius?

Santa: Him and Hermie the elf. I bet ya Hermie can help you with your little tooth problem till your teeth come in. Would 1 of you pegasies mind giving me a lift? Might also need help if Bumble wants to come.

Rainbow Dash: I'll help.

Fluttershy: Same here. *They leave and Twilight Sparkle goes with them*

After all the ponies tell him what they want for Christmas he gets ready to leave:

Santa: Now that I have heard everyone's Christmas wish I'm leaving. You all be good now you hear?

Ponies: We will. *He leaves*

Minty: You were right Megan he is nice.

Megan: Glad he didn't see your guys' surprise for him.

Minty: Me too. We'll put it on the tree Christmas Eve. Will you 2 be here?

David: You can count on it.

Megan: Yeah.

She keeps looking at it:

Minty: Perfect. *Sees it a little off* Hmm maybe a smidge to the left. *She tries to get everyone to come out* Windwhistler? RD? Eh I can handle it. *She gets in an air balloon* Maybe Santa can give me flying lessons for Christmas. *She pushes it a little* A little more. *The candy cane almost drops and she catches it* Whew. That was close. *The balloon floats away* Just a little more.

Meanwhile inside:

Megan: There its ready for Santa.

Pinkie Pie: Thanks guys.

David: Your welcome.

Back outside:

Minty: Just 1 more shove. *She pushes it and it falls and she tries to catch it but its too late* Oh no. Oh please don't tell me that just happened? *She flies down* Maybe its not so bad. *She lands* Oh no. It is bad. Oh no oh no. I broke the special 1 of a kind here comes Christmas candy cane? *David comes out*

David: Minty what happened? *Sees the candy cane on the ground* Minty! What did you do? *She starts crying*

Minty: I pushed it because it was off. Then when I tried to make it more straight. *She starts bawling* Pinkie Pie's gonna be mad at me.

David: I bet she'll understand. Stop crying those tears will freeze to your face.

Minty: What are we gonna do David? What are we gonna do?

David: Minty have you heard of "Twas the Night before Christmas"?

Minty: The poem? Yes I have?

David: There was a cartoon that was made and a mouse in it wrote a letter to an editor saying that Santa was fake. *Tells her the story* And then he broke the clockmaker's clock.

Minty: Did he feel bad?

David: Yeah. But he fixed it.

Minty: But I can't fix a broken candy cane.

David: Here. Why don't we sing this song? *Hands her a paper* Just sing the Children's part. *She nods* Now let's hope in miracles. *Starts singing* Miracles happen most every day

Minty: Megan I have a confession to make. *Points at the ground* I broke the here comes Christmas candy cane into crackly little pieces. I'm sorry.

Megan: Tell Pinkie Pie. She'd understand.

Minty: I will and thanks. *They leave* Now I can hope she doesn't get mad and say "We're not friends anymore."

She goes to everyone's house and hangs socks on their mantles and if someone wonders who it is she just said:

Scoot-a-loo: Santa?

Minty: Ho ho ho.

Finally after awhile she arrives at Pinkie Pie's house and she wakes her up:

Pinkie Pie: Santa?

Minty: Ho ho ho.

Pinkie Pie: Minty? Why are you hanging socks on my mantle?

Minty: Oh Pinkie Pie. *Starts crying* I feel so bad.

Pinkie Pie: What happened?

Minty: I broke the "Here comes Christmas" candy cane.

Pinkie Pie: You didn't? *She nods sadly* Minty, Minty, Minty.

Minty: I know I know I know. I'm really really sorry. You hate me don't you? *Starts crying*

Pinkie Pie: Oh Minty please don't cry. I'm sure it was an accident. *Looks at the socks* Minty are these your socks?

Minty: Yeah. I thought if I can give you all socks you wouldn't be upset. Pretty stupid huh? *Pinkie Pie smiles*

Pinkie Pie: That was thoughtful of you. But we have to figure a way to fix this so Santa will come. I know. Go away.

Minty: Go? As in move away? From Ponyland? But I'd miss you all.

Pinkie Pie: No. I mean go to the North Pole.

Minty: The North Pole? The North Pole?

Pinkie Pie: Yeah. Go see Santa and explain what happened.

Minty: Good idea. Thanks Pinkie. *She runs*
