That's why I include killing blows that are kicks and punches in Celestial Warrior Moon.

1 of my quirks is that when I write a story it has to have meaning. As seen in the 2 part Luna story which started 2 years ago I didn't want it to just end with her giving her life to Jesus I wanted to there to be a continuation that showed that Christianity is tough. Also in "A life given" I wanted there to be the idea that children are a gift from him. Anyways that's 1 of my quirks.

Celestial Warrior Moon is a breath of fresh air compared to Sailor Moon.
I often make up as I go too.

have my problems- overuse of certian adjectives- 'he whinnied', she shook her mane', 'he snorted', I have characters monolouge and talk overly intellectual when it's out of character for them, and I don't describe things enough when I write, and don't go into much detail.

I find that though I call myself a writer, a more apt description would be "storyteller." I have all of these ideas, which just kind of expand over time as I think about them, but in terms of actual writing, I have a miserable time of it. I can only really write consistently and well and without losing momentum, every once in a blue moon. And even then, I usually get interrupted by trite, inane things like Real Life right when I'm actually capable of producing something worth reading. I won't go into the full rant, but suffice to say it pisses me off.
I find that I typically prefer female leads (even before I got into ponies) and often, for some reason, they are usually a lesbian. I have no idea why. *shrug*
Plot-wise, I also seem to be fond of gratuitous time-travel, and storylines that aren't exactly slice-of-life, but aren't exactly huge and sprawling epic adventures, either. And Hollywood Psychology tends to be a common theme.
Yet another thing I've noticed is a 'benevolent but morally questionable manipulator' archetype in my protagonists. Dunno what that says about me.
Back to writing; I tend to find myself either writing criminally bland Beige Prose or obscenely overwrought Purple Prose, with very little in between; I can only find that sweet spot during those rare periods when I can actually write.
I tend to plan things out, either before writing or very early on in the process. One of my stories on FIMFiction (The Atlantis Scenario) is all planned out, but due to the aforementioned issues in the actual writing part, I haven't even released the second chapter. Improvising as I go is a difficult thing for me to do, as my brain gets ahead of me and I end up with a full outline anyway, by the second or third installment. Fizzy's Dilemma is somewhat of an experiment in that regard; how long can I last before I have a full plan for the thing?
I find myself often torn, as I love excessive and intricate worldbuilding, but I also hate how doing so reduces the world's sense of mystery and magic.

I have noticed that I have to set the mood in myself before I can write. If I am going to write a sad piece, I go watch the scene where Optimus died in the 1986 movie and imagine the pain the characters must have felt. I tend to favor helpless scenarios where there is little to no hope for a beloved character.
In my current fanfiction novel, Leader-1 has learned that he is dying. If Optimus completes the mission and becomes the Key, Leader-1 dies because there can never be two Keys. If nothing is done, Leader-1 dies along with the entire Universe.

Ditto. The feels do not always come easily, but they have to before I can write the right mood.

I tend to have certain songs on repeat while writing certain 'scenes'. In fact I have a whole playlist devoted to The Story. XD I think I'll make a thread on that... I wanna say I did a few years ago, but I never posted the playlist for fear of judgement... well... ;P To heck with it all, I'm doing it anyway!
