The Magic of Ponyland: Twilight's only hope

Alright time for the story I promised. Here's a review of what has happened to Twilight Sparkle thus far:

Last time on the Magic of Ponyland:

Soon I'll have my revenge.

And now the 6 part story: Twilight's only hope.

Part 1: Tyrak rises from the darkness

In the magical princess palace Twilight Sparkle is washing Baby Twilight Sparkle:

Twilight Sparkle:
Stay still you little wiggle worm. *Giggles* Can't believe you will be 4 this year.

Baby Twilight Sparkle:
I know.

Twilight Sparkle:
How in the world did you get so dirty?

Baby Twilight Sparkle:
Me and Baby Luna were playing in a puddle. *Suddenly Twilight Sparkle growls* Mama? Mama you okay? Your not mad are you?

Twilight Sparkle:
*Her voice distorted* YOUR ANNOYING ME YOU LITTLE..... *She gasps and covers her mouth*

Baby Twilight Sparkle:
Mama. Why would you say that?

Twilight Sparkle:
I.... I don't know. I've been feeling funny here lately. Like something dark is in me. Did mama ever tell you what happened to her when she was a baby?

Baby Twilight Sparkle:
Something about a monster and how he turned you evil.

Twilight Sparkle:
Yes. And *Groans* I WILL BRING EVER ENDING NIGHT!

Matilda:
*Coming in* What's going on with the yelling? *Looks over at her and sees an evil grin on her face* Uh oh. Its happening again.

Twilight Sparkle:
What's *Distorted* happening to me?

Matilda:
Make the call. *Baby Twilight Sparkle nods and Matilda goes over to console Twilight Sparkle who's now in tears* We'll figure this out.

Baby Twilight Sparkle:
And she started acting all crazy and.... *Starts crying* I want my mama back to normal.

Spike:
*Coming in after hearing the ordeal and he picks Baby Twilight Sparkle up* We'll figure out what's wrong with her.

Twilight Sparkle:
Thanks Spike. Your a good friend. Speaking of friends I hope David and the others see what's going on.

Matilda:
Knowing them sis they already know.

Meanwhile in the human world

Melissa:
Uh dad. You might want to see this.

David:
*Looking at the book* Jessica we need to go NOW!

Jessica:
Got it.

David:
Looks like Tyrak has returned but is inside Twilight Sparkle.

David, Jessica, Melissa, Christina and Thomas arrive. Megan is there too

Megan:
I can't believe it. We defeated him twice.

David:
Twilight Sparkle are you okay?

Twilight Sparkle:
Right now I am. *Mr Moochlack comes in* Mr. Moochlack good to see you.

Mr. Moochlack:
Listen girl I think I know what happened. When Tyrak took you over as a baby he might have left some of himself in you.

Twilight Sparkle:
*Laughs evilly* That's right you old fool. Ah David the 1 who ruined my plans years ago. I could kill you right here and now.

David:
Tyrak let my friend go now.

Twilight Sparkle:
Oh I will. *She turns back into Twilight Sparkle and starts arguing with Tyrak* You stop being mean to my friend Tyrak.

Tyrak:
When I'm good and ready.

Sunstar:
*Coming in with the mane 6* Let me guess. Your Tyrak.

Tyrak:
Ah. Sunstar. If only you'd stay as Dark Star.

Twilight Sparkle:
Stop that. She regrets being the 1 who almost brought about ruin.

Tyrak:
Get back in the darkness where you belong. *Twilight Sparkle's eyes go yellow*

Twilight Sparkle:
Hereeeeeee's Tyrak. But I need a new name. Hmm.

David:
You listen to me Tyrak. Let my friend go or else.

Tyrak:
Hmm. I don't think so.

David decides that maybe its time that he looked deeper into Tyrak's past

David:
Argh. Still nothing on his past beyond the part we were told when we asked the elders.

Rainbow Blast:
*She is looking over Twilight Sparkle who is back to her old self again. They brought her back to Paradise Estate to be looked at by Mr Moochick* Still can't believe he's still alive.

Mr. Moochick:
Why is he doing this?

Twilight Sparkle:
I don't know.

Crystal Protector:
If Christina were here we could ask her. *A familiar voice is heard* Christina?

Christina:
Hey guys.

Megan:
Mom? But how?

Christina:
Eh I'm like a guardian angel now Megan. Twilight Sparkle you make a fine princess.

Twilight Sparkle:
Yeah.

Christina:
Anyways I could tell you anything you need to know.

Part 2: Tyrak's past

David:
Now wait. There's more about Tyrak?

Christina:
More than you think. Tyrak was once a guardian.

David:
A guardian?

Celestia:
I heard about that. He was the guardian of the rainbow of light.

David:
Now I'm really confused. *An image of a prince comes up*

Christina:
This is Scorpan. Or as I found out later Prince Timothy.

Prince Timothy:
I used to know Tyrak before he was turned into a monster. You see..... We're brothers.

Everyone:
WHAT?!

Prince Timothy:
You see we were both princes of a beautiful kingdom. Then 1 day a witch cast a spell on Tyrak turning him into a centaur. *An image is seen with Timothy and Tyrak as kids* I warned him about going into a portal that was found.

Tyrak in the past:
I want to see what this place is.

Timothy:
Mom and dad warned us Thomas.

Timothy:
He didn't listen.

David:
So his real name is Thomas?

Timothy:
Yes. When I tried to stop him we were sucked in. Then we met up with a witch. *David and Megan gasp*

David:
Somnambula.

Timothy:
Yes.

Somnambula:
Who are you 2 and why did you come here?

Timothy:
We're sorry. We'll leave.

Timothy:
Well I promised her but my brother did one thing that mad her mad.

Thomas:
Your ugly. I'm not listening to you.

Somnambula:
So you think I'm ugly do you? Well I'll change your tune. *She casts a spell on him and turns him into a centaur* From this day forward you will no longer be known as Thomas. From now on it'll be Tyrak.

David:
That mean old witch. But who could blame her? He did call her ugly.

Tyrak:
*Taking control of Twilight Sparkle again* Why are you showing these images brother? I'm not the same as I used to be.

David:
Shut up Tyrak. Luna.

Luna:
I'm on it. *Casts a spell and Twilight Sparkle is back to normal again* That should hold him for now.

David:
Continue Timothy.

Timothy:
We both didn't know what to do so we went to see a wizard. Well a gnome anyway. He was helping with the elder's mom with the upcoming arrivals.

David:
Coolrider?

Timothy:
Yes. And Tricar.

Mr. Moochick:
*In the past* I'm sorry Thomas but there's no way of reversing the witch's magic.

Thomas:
Oh man. Guess I'd better learn to live with the name Tyrak then.

Coolrider:
You 2 can stay with us.

David:
Back up. You knew Mr. Moochick?

Timothy:
Yes. He was the 1 who introduced us to Coolrider and Tricar.

Thomas:
But I'm nothing but a monster now.

Tricar:
Nonsense.

Timothy:
For 3 months we stayed with them. Mr. Moochick worked on a magical artifact. 1 he called.

Megan:
The rainbow of light.

Timothy:
Yes. He said that there once was another rainbow like it. It was sealed away in a tree. Now what was it? Tree of hope?

David:
It wouldn't be the tree of harmony would it?

Timothy:
Yes. That's it. You know the legend I take it. And how it will reveal the seventh element of harmony. *Sunstar nods*

Sunstar:
That's me Timothy.

Timothy:
I see. So the legends are true. There was a golden alicorn as it was foretold in the prophecy. By the way I haven't seen Twilight Sparkle since a few minutes ago. Where'd she go?

David:
She said she wanted some fresh air. *She can be heard screaming* That's her.

They head outside and Twilight Sparkle is trying to fight Tyrak to keep him from taking over

David:
Tyrak you stop this at once.

Tyrak:
Never. I'll never forgive those ponies. They called me a monster.

Timothy:
They were just scared Tyrak.

Tyrak:
Scorpan you old fool leave me be.

Twilight Sparkle:
I won't let you control me again Tyrak. My friends will stop you.

David:
That's my girl. *Gasps* I have an idea. We'll recount all her good times. Maybe that will help her keep control.

Applejack:
Good idea.

Mane 6:
We're in.

Part 3: Memories of Twilight's Past

David:
I'll start. Twilight Sparkle. Remember when I came back the next day as promised?

In the past

Twilight Sparkle:
What if he hates me aunt Heartthrob? I hurt him pretty bad.

Heartthrob:
That doesn't matter honey. *David comes in*

David:
Guess who's here? *She runs up tears streaming down her face and hugs him* Why are you crying buddy?

Twilight Sparkle:
I thought you'd hate me for what I did yesterday. I'm so sorry. *She starts crying and bawling and repeating "I'm sorry" over and over again*

David:
Look at me Twilight Sparkle. *She's still crying* Hey. Come on buddy. Stop crying for a minute. *She tries and starts bawling again* Hey. Come on now. You can't listen to me if you're crying can you? *She calms down* That's my friend.

Twilight Sparkle:
We're *Sniffs* friends?

David:
Of course. Here. Close your eyes. *She does* Now no peeking young lady. *She peeks* Ah. I said no fair peeking silly. *She covers them and giggles* Now that's the sound I like to hear. *He puts a picture of him and her in her hooves* Now open them. *She does and starts bawling again*

Twilight Sparkle:
Why? Why'd you give this to me? I'm a bad girl.

David:
Hey. Look at me. You are not a bad girl. You hear me? You're not a bad girl. You're a good girl. Know why? *She shakes her head* Because bad girls don't say their sorry. Bad girls don't have remorse. Bad girls don't have good friends. You aren't a bad girl.

Twilight Sparkle:
But yesterday. I almost killed you.

David:
Girl. That's in the past. Would it make you feel better if I forgave you? *She nods* Then I forgive you. *She starts bawling* Come here. Give your friend a hug. *She does and starts crying even more* That's it let it out.

In the present

David:
You wouldn't stop saying your sorry. Remember? Remember what I said after you stopped crying your little heart out?

Twilight Sparkle:
That we were friends. And nothing I did or ever will do would change that.

David:
Right.

Twilight Sparkle:
*Laughing* By that time I realized I needed a change.

Tyrak:
Stop laughing. No laughing unless its an evil laugh.

Applejack:
Ha. You don't know what laughter is Tyrak. And I think I know who should go next. *Pinkie Pie is bouncing up and down*

Pinkie Pie:
Me, me, me.

David:
You're up Pinkie.

But which 1? So many silly memories to remember.

Applejack:

Oh. I got it. Twilight Sparkle remember when we went after the elements of harmony?

David:

Applejack:
Trust me on this. She knows what she's doing.

*Straining* Yeah.

Pinkie Pie:
Remember how scary the forest looked going in?

In the past

Applejack:
Sure looks scary in here. *Pinkie Pie scoffs*

Giggle at the ghostly:

Back in the present Twilight Sparkle is laughing

Twilight Sparkle:
Back then I thought that was a ridiculous song.

Tyrak:
You have no friends.

Celestia:
WRONG TYRAK! Or have you forgotten that she once taught a certain someone about friendship. Luna I believe its your turn.

Luna:
Got ya. Twilight Sparkle remember Nightmare night?

Twilight Sparkle:
Yeah. You were kinda scared that everyone would hate you for who you were.

In the past on Nightmare Night

Luna:
I had come to Ponyville to help celebrate Nightmare Night or as the humans call it "Halloween". I thought that everyone would hate me. I was told not to yell.

Luna:
*In the past* BUT THIS IS MY ROYAL VOICE!

Luna:
So I toned it down. Then I met your good friend David who if it weren't for him Baby Luna wouldn't be born.

Back in the present

Luna:
So see Tyrak she has friends.

Rarity:
Yeah if it weren't for her I wouldn't have found out that beauty is more than just looks.

Applejack:
I wouldn't have learned the true meaning of the word "honesty".

Rainbow Dash:
I wouldn't know about loyalty.

Fluttershy:
I wouldn't be so outgoing and kind.

Discord:
*Coming in* She's contributed to everyone in Ponyland. So don't put my friend down like that.

Sunstar:
You may have her body but deep down inside she's still our lovable princess Sparkle Tyrak.

David:
So you see Tyrak even if you can control her she still can hear us.

Tyrak:
*As her body shines* WHAT'S HAPPENING!?

David:
That's it Twilight Sparkle. Fight back.

Twilight Sparkle:
*Switching between Tyrak and her own voice* You're hated by everyone..... You're wrong Tyrak. I'm not a monster like you... Shut up you little.... DON'T TELL ROYALTY TO SHUT UP! *Suddenly a glow is seen and Tyrak and Twilight Sparkle are split apart* Ha! Take that Tyrak.

Tyrak:
Ha ha ha little pony. I may not have you but I've regained my former body. I don't need you. Soon Ponyland will be in never ending night. *He leaves*

David:
After him.

David:
*As their running after him* Timothy you have to talk to him. Maybe there's still some good in him.

Timothy:

Timothy:
What about mom and dad? What'd they think about you if they saw you now?

Tyrak:
They'd hate me. *An image is seen of a king and queen* Mom? Dad?

King John:
Timothy told us what happened years ago.

Queen Jesse:
Yeah. He said you insulted a witch. Is that true?

Tyrak:
Yes. You probably hate me now.

King John:
No we don't. *Suddenly Tyrak's eyes fill with tears*

Tyrak:
I'm a monster.

King John:
No your not. What's inside you is. You have to let it go.

Tyrak:
I'll try. *He struggles with the demon inside him* GET OUT!!!!!!!!

Twilight Sparkle:
Fight him Tyrak. Your friends are here.

Tyrak:
I have no friends.

David:
That's not true.

Tyrak:
I'm a monster.

Sunstar:
Tyrak a friend once told me monsters kill.

Tyrak:
I tried to make Twilight Sparkle kill her friend.

David:
Tyrak. *Thinks* Everyone stand back.

Sunstar:
David don't do anything stupid.

David:
I have to try this. Its worked before. After that you and Princess Sparkle take over. I imagine the demon inside him will try to kill us all.

Twilight Sparkle:
I consider it as a princess duty.

David:
Okay Tyrak. *Walks near him*

Tyrak:
Get away or I'll kill you. *He keeps coming toward him and hugs him. He raises his hoof to try and kill him but stops right before the blade hits him* Why can't I kill him?

David:
Because friends don't kill people.

Tyrak:
We're friends?

David:
Of course. *He puts his hoof around David and starts crying*

Tyrak:
I've been a bad person. *He steps back and screams* GET OUT! GET OUT OF ME NOW!!!!!!! *He starts glowing and finally him and the demon are separated* I'm free.

David:
Yes you are. *He faints*

Demon:
You stupid human. I'm known as Tyrak.

David:
Gals you know what to do. *They nod*

They all grab their elements

Twilight Sparkle:
Time you said goodbye Tyrak. *They focus all their energy and the same rainbow like before comes out and Tyrak is gone* Yes.

David:
Gals. I think you'd better come over here and tell our new friend goodbye.

Twilight Sparkle:
What? *Looks over to where Tyrak was and there was a prince barely hanging on* Tyrak!

Thomas:
No. That's not my real name Princess Sparkle. My real name is Thomas. *Coughs*

Applejack:
Just hang in there Thomas.

Thomas:
Sorry for taking you over like that.

Twilight Sparkle:
Its okay. I forgive you. *Her eyes fill with tears* I'll save you. *Focuses her magic but nothing happens* Why isn't it working?

Matilda:
*Walking up* He's near death girl. We can't stop the inevitable.

Twilight Sparkle:
But David and Sunstar?

Matilda:
They weren't as close as Thomas is.

Fluttershy:
*In tears as well* But we just met him.

Magicdust:
*Walking up* Sorry guys but there's nothing we can do for him. Our parents tried the same thing with the elders when the incident happened all those years ago. They found out that their powers work on those who are not near death.

Thomas:
Thanks for trying Twilight Sparkle. Sure wish we had met a different way. *He lays his head down and dies*

David:
What a true friend.

David:
He wasn't evil just overtaken by it.

Megan:
Sure wish I had known the real Tyrak before he was Tyrak.

Twilight Sparkle:
He'll always be remembered.

Meanwhile where they fought Tryak

Tyrak:
*Seen as a monster* So you thought you'd gotten rid of me? I have plans for the mane 6. *Holding up his hooves and laughing*

Back in Twilight Sparkle's library something is happening to the elements of harmony. 5 of them are glowing

Fluttershy:
I don't know. And as to what I'm doing I'm trying to entertain these ponies.

Sunstar:

Rarity's controlling the weather, Fluttershy is trying to do comedy, and your? You're taking care of animals?

Rainbow Dash:
Yeah and let me tell you its not easy. *Sunstar gasps as she looks at Rainbow Dash's cutie mark*

Sunstar:
Its Rainbow Dash but she has Fluttershy's cutie mark. This is bad.

These animals don't listen, no, not one little bit

YOU TAKE THAT BACK TYRAK! OR I'LL!

Tyrak:
You'll what? Destroy me with your Elements of Harmony? Go ahead and try. Even if you tried I changed all your friends talents.

Twilight Sparkle:
He's right. He's won. *She sadly walks off*

Sunstar:
Princess. *Gets mad* I SWEAR TYRAK YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS! YOU HEAR ME?! PAY! I'd better go get David and Megan. They always know what to do.

She heads to the portal and David and Megan are waiting for her

David:
We knew you'd come. Tyrak isn't gone.

Sunstar:
Yeah and he switched everyone's talents. Well just 5 of us.

Megan:
We seen. Come on. Knowing Twilight Sparkle she's probably feeling down.

They head into the portal and to the mystical palace and her sisters point to her room

David:
Twilight Sparkle?

Twilight Sparkle:
Go away. Its hopeless.

Baby Twilight Sparkle:
She's pretty upset.

David:
The door was unlocked. Come on buddy talk to me. *She turns her face*

Twilight Sparkle:
Tyrak ruined everything. Its all my fault.

David:
Hey. Is that a way a princess talks? *She starts crying* Listen to me. Your friends need you. Girl if it weren't for you they would have never....

Twilight Sparkle:
Wait? Go back. What was that again?

David:
Hey? *She shakes her head* Is that a way a princess talks?

David:

That's it. Its worked before. It could work again. Sunstar I know what to do. David I need your help. Get Fluttershy and meet me at her house pronto. *He nods* Now we head there.

They head to Fluttershy's house and Rainbow Dash is seen tied up in a pot

David:
I hope this works. *Pushes Fluttershy in*

Fluttershy:
But I don't know a thing about animals.

Twilight Sparkle:
Just try. *She goes up to them*

Fluttershy:
Uh excuse me. *They don't listen and she gets steamed* EXCUSE ME! *They stop* That's better. *They all run up and hug her* Wow. Here I bet your hungry. *Feeds them and they all hug her* You're welcome.
