Let me just again that I love Discord. He might not be a villain anymore but he always finds a way to make us laugh. This also is the first time we see Cadence hang out with Twilight Sparkle after she became a princess. Anyway here's: "Three's a crowd" review: The episode opens up with Spike coming in with a letter. Its a letter from Cadence who says she can come. Fluttershy says she's excited that she can see the "Breezies". We won't see what they look like till "It ain't easy being Breezies" but let me tell ya they changed them. Pinkie Pie comes in with a flier which about furniture. I guess that's exciting. This opens the theme. The episode opens back up with them seeing Fluttershy off. We also see a funny scene with Pinkie Pie seeing a balloon after she tells Fluttershy she'll never forget her. Oh Pinkie Pie that's why we love ya. Twilight Sparkle says that her and Cadence are going to see the "Star Swirled the Bearded Museum" while she's in town. Cadence arrives and they bow to each other which Cadence says they don't need to be formal since they are sisters in laws. The others say they'll make sure nothing happens but then..... something crashes. Something blue..... NO!!!!!!! Not Discord. With him around you never know what'll happen. (Which is really cool). They ask him what he's doing there and why he's blue. He caught a bug. He needs Fluttershy to nurse him back to health but he remembers that she left. They are pen pals. He says they can help nurse him back to health and Rainbow Dash runs away and he tells Pinkie Pie that Rarity and Applejack will do it and gives her another balloon to follow. He then hears them talk about Twilight Sparkle and they say not to bug her since she's with Cadence. He then sneezes on Rarity and Applejack and guess what? He's contagious. Great now their sick. He goes to the museum and Cadence and Twilight Sparkle sees him. Great now they have to nurse him back to health. They agree. They take him back to Twilight Sparkle's library. By the way the illness is what he calls "Blue flu". Makes sense since he is blue. Cadence puts a magic health bubble around them to keep them from getting sick. They put him to bed and he asks them for one tiny little thing. He sings "Glass of water" which is the first time we hear his actor sing and might I say he is a good singer. During the song he keeps asking for stuff along with his glass of water. See this is why I love Discord. He's so funny when he does this stuff . Also seeing him doing the waltz with Twilight Sparkle has to be the best part of this song . And seeing him switch Cadence's and Twilight Sparkle's manes is so like Discord . The minute they give it to him he drops it. He tells them of a flower that can heal him. He goes with them to get it but they have to carry him. How embarrassing. They arrive and Cadence and Twilight Sparkle head up the hill. They pull it. Huh that was..... What's that rumbling? Oh boy a monster. They fight it and finally get it back in its resting place. They go where Discord is and find that he was faking it. Ah good old Discord . It was a test to see if Twilight Sparkle was truly his friend. Cadence says it wasn't as bad as they thought. This was a nice turn of events. The monster from before comes back out and spews over Discord and now he's really sick. They take him back to the library and Twilight Sparkle has an entry for the journal. Rarity tells him he got what he deserves. Fluttershy says he's learned his lesson and he asks for a glass of water to end the episode. Good Points: -Discord was his usual chaotic self. -"Glass of water" was sang really good by the actor. Above all this episode was great. 10/10. Next up is part 3 of the "Keys to Friendship" mini-series the "Pinkie Pride" review.

I don't much like "Weird Al Yankovich" but with this episode I'll make an exception. I'll admit he is funny. And yes he is in this episode. He plays the voice of Cheese Sandwich. By the way this episode is hilarious and very much like Pinkie Pie. So here's: "Pinkie Pride" review: The episode opens up as a pony leaves a party. He gets a feeling and his next party is in Ponyville. This is Cheese Sandwich by the way. The rubber chicken on his back is named "Boneless". What's he got to do with this episode? We'll see. This opens the theme. The episode opens back up with Pinkie Pie singing "Pinkie the Party Planner" while she gets a party ready for.... Rainbow Dash. Everyone talks about her past parties even Diamond Tiara which I'll take what she says as a compliment. As they get ready to throw a party for her birthaversary (Birthday and anniversary) another pony shows up. He introduces himself as Cheese Sandwich and he is going to plan a party instead. He sings "Super Duper Party Pony" and again they picked the right person to play the voice for Cheese Sandwich. Again I don't like "Weird Al" but I'll make an exception. This makes Pinkie Pie sad. Poor Pinkie Pie . Rainbow Dash is excited that Cheese Sandwich is there to make it exciting but this makes Pinkie Pie even more sad after hearing from her friends he's good. Cheese Sandwich starts putting the party together and Rainbow Dash likes what he's done. Pinkie Pie is at home feeling sorry for herself even after Twilight Sparkle invites her to help out. She sings "Pinkie's Lament" which is kinda sad till she perks up. We see her thinking of what she can now do since she isn't a party planner anymore (Or so she thinks). She even looks at her past parties. She decides its time to take action. What is it? She goes out and challenges Cheese Sandwich to a "Goof-off". He accepts. The winner becomes a party planner and the loser doesn't and has to leave town. They both sing "The Goof-off" while they show how they can be better than the other. We even hear a parody of "Smile" during this song by Cheese Sandwich which is very appropriate for Weird Al. This song makes me laugh . So silly. Pinkie Pie realizes she went too far by being silly and resigns and makes Cheese Sandwich the winner. Pinkie Pie decides to leave town but the others try to stop her and Cheese Sandwich finally tells her he wasn't trying to upstage her. He sings "Cheese Confesses" to show that he didn't mean to do what he did and show he was inspired by Pinkie Pie. THAT'S AWESOME! They decide to both throw her a party. This is so COOL! I'd love to have a party thrown by these two . They sing the last song which is called "Make a wish" and Cheese Sandwich leaves behind Boneless for Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie writes in the journal what she learned and Boneless shines to end the episode. Good Points: -We got to see Pinkie Pie be silly. -We also got to see competition. -Every song was awesome. -Although I don't like "Weird Al" he was funny playing the voice of Cheese Sandwich. Great and silly episode. 10/10. Next week is the "Simple Ways" review. Can't believe I'm almost done with the first four seasons of "Friendship is Magic". Anyway tomorrow since the episodes aren't in order from this week will be the start of my "Tales" reviews.

Okay I am going to go out on a limb and just say it. THIS EPISODE IS HORRIBLE! No I'm not kidding. This could have easily been done better. Anyways here's: "Simple Ways" review: The episode opens up as they talk about a ceremony and the winner is Rarity. A few ideas? Looks like you have a lot. This opens the theme. The episode opens back up as Spike talks about Rarity's ideas for the Ponyville days festival. Small town chique . She's worried about the festival. She appoints everyone and she wants to impress Trenderhoof. Now this isn't the reason I didn't like the episode. Her crush on Trenderhoof isn't bad just wait till later. Twilight Sparkle goes with Rarity to meet Trenderhoof. She is getting anxious. Well there he is. See now this is why I didn't like this episode because Rarity reacting to Trenderhoof isn't like her. She takes him on a tour of Ponyville. He takes a liking to Sweet Apple Acres. By the way there's more reasons as to why I didn't like this episode so much. He notices Applejack and is smitten by her. Rarity is now depressed and Spike goes to check on her. Poor Rarity . I think she should go talk to him which is another reason why I didn't like this episode. That and Rarity's jealousy. Also the fact that he is falling in love.... Actually no never mind. That's not another problem. Its okay. But he really needs to open his eyes. This is why this episode is called "Simple Ways" and this episode isn't so simple. Rarity butts in again saying she wants to grow apples. Trenderhoof says a poem for Applejack. That didn't even rhyme? SEE WHAT I MEAN? THIS IS WHY THIS EPISODE BOMBED IN MY BOOKS! He doesn't see how much Rarity loves him and she doesn't even tell him till later. Plus she's working way too hard to make him notice her. You need to do it right Rarity. There we go again. See you need to stop showing off Rarity and show how much you are in love with Trenderhoof. Oh jeez. Rarity just come out and say it. *Hoofpalms* And what's more she's blaming Applejack for him for falling for Applejack. Applejack has a point. This might not end well. She wants to change the ideas at the last minute and oh boy. Now she's done it. She's gone from a southern belle to a country pony. That's going a bit overboard Rarity and the others agree. Applejack decides to show her how silly Rarity is. Rarity continues changing her plans with her outfits. Okay this is getting out of hand. Applejack has traded places with Rarity. Oh wait I get it. She wants to show how silly this is by changing her looks. Rarity still doesn't get the point. Okay that's taking it too far Rarity. That's better. She comes to her senses. Uh oh its one of hers. Trenderhoof decides to move to Ponyville but Applejack and Rarity tells him that he shouldn't have to change himself. See this should have been known before. Rarity writes this in the journal at the festival to end the episode. Good Point: -That Rarity finally realized how silly she was. Bad Point: -The whole episode. The fact that Rarity thought that it was because of Applejack's fault and trying to show her up. Ugh. The episode just isn't worth my time. Its an okay episode for the most part. 5/10. Next is one of my favorite episodes because of the song on it and hearing Flutterguy again was cool. The "Filly Vanilli" review is next.

I just want to say I love this episode. Its really good and we hear how great a singing voice Fluttershy has even with the "Poison Joke" yes we've heard her sing before but she really shines in this episode. Here's: "Filli Vanilli" review: The episode opens up at Fluttershy's house and she sees all her friends and she sings "Music in the Treetops" which is part of "Find you got the music" actually . Again I love Fluttershy's singing . This episode to me is not a waste. Her animal friends cheer her on. And apparently her friends heard her too and are surprised she has such a voice. Heh I'm not. This of course makes her nervous to open the theme. The episode opens back up as her friends are saying how amazed her voice is and Rarity thinks she should apply for the "Pony tones" and Pinkie Pie makes her more nervous. Rarity scolds Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy doesn't want to perform with them because she has stage fright. Well she is timid so it makes sense. They get everything ready and we hear them sing "Find you got the music" and I just love hearing Big Mac doing the bebop for this song and this is sang wonderfully by the pony tones . Come on Fluttershy get in there. You got the perfect voice . Spike says Rarity was awesome and Fluttershy says they all are great. Fluttershy thanks Rarity and the next day Big Mac has lost his voice during a turkey calling competition. THIS IS A DISASTER! No backup by Big Mac. Yeah he lost the competition along with his voice. Oh no. Now they can't perform. They go to see Zecora for a remedy but its gonna take longer than that night. Zecora says Fluttershy could do the backup with the brew that's like "Poison Joke" but won't appear on stage. Lip singing? That could work if she does it. She tells Zecora to mix it up and they get ready to perform for the fundraiser. The Pony Tones starts singing with Flutterguy singing for Big Mac. Even in her Flutterguy voice she has a wonderful voice . She's even having fun . Well that worked wonderfully. They don't know that Fluttershy was singing for Big Mac and they are asked to perform at a cutsinera but Flutterguy tells Rarity she's up for it. As they perform they are asked to help out other events with Flutterguy insisting they do it. One last event and Big Mac has his voice back but Flutterguy is sad she can't perform again but Rarity asks Big Mac if she can be backup one last time but she gets overexcited and knocks over the backdrop and is revealed. As she stands on stage she gets really nervous and runs off even after a standing ovation. Applejack asks Big Mac what happened and they go to talk to her. Pinkie Pie stop that. You're making her more upset. They tell her she was good. I agree with them Fluttershy . Why Fluttershy you were great. Rarity even points this out. With a talk from her friends Fluttershy decides to join the pony tones as their fifth singer with her real voice. Their all really proud of her. And she feels okay and she doesn't want to just yet. She writes that she shouldn't hide but to show who you really are in the journal to end the episode. Good Points: -The whole episode. I love "Filli Vanilli". -Both "Music in the treetops" and "Find you got the music" were very well sang even by Flutterguy . -Fluttershy finally realized she didn't need to hide her talents. Great episode. 10/10. Next up is the "Twilight Time" review.

Eh this episode is okay. I don't really like how the Cutie Mark Crusaders exploit being trained by Twilight Sparkle just to get attention. I do like the ending though which shows there might be hope for them yet. Here's: "Twilight Time" review: The episode opens up with Twilight Sparkle teaching the cutie mark crusaders stuff but its not going well. But its a start. They all have to learn to do these things themselves. New skills for them. Potion making, rebuilding a bike, and magic using. This opens the theme. The episode opens back with the cutie mark crusaders at school. Diamond Tiara wants to put on an acrobatic display but is too tired so she brought her butler. Exactly. The cutie mark crusaders decide that maybe if they get good enough they could be the big shots. Diamond Tiara asks if Rarity is going to take them to Manehattan and they make fun of them and they blurt out that they get to be with Twilight Sparkle and that makes Diamond Tiara wants to go too along with the others and they agree after talking it over. They arrive at the library and they are excited. Twilight Sparkle is glad they brought guests and overacting much Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. Twilight Sparkle thinks they should keep "Twilight time" to just them. They talk about the day before. Diamond Tiara brings more ponies. They all want in on this. Oh boy. They all stand outside wanting "Twilight Time". Nearest and dearest? Yeah right. Sweetie Belle says that this could work out but they ask Twilight Sparkle for lunch but Diamond Tiara brings more than 2. Twilight Sparkle is glad they invited her and she's happy they are wanting to learn and they agree. Oh Pinkie Pie . Uh oh their caught. Wow their posing. This is bad. Wow she's popular. But she is a princess and they all are excited to see her and that she goes where they go. Free lemonade for a week? Wow. They are taking advantage of the generosity. Everything goes well till they see that all the others are being left out and they have to go for "Twilight time" and they say that the others can't because they didn't ask which makes Diamond Tiara point out that they'd be upset and the cutie mark crusaders run. They decide to run to the library and the others follow them. The cutie mark crusaders apologize but Twilight Sparkle said that this was for their benefit. Nachos yummy. Twilight Sparkle forms groups of ponies who want to learn different things. Twilight Sparkle says to thank them. The truth is revealed. Twilight Sparkle wants them to prove they wanted to learn and decide to show them what they learned. This doesn't work too well. Guess they didn't learn anything. Twilight Sparkle tells them to all leave. Before the cutie mark crusaders leave they show they did learn something and Spike comes in with nachos. They write in the journal about what they learned. I guess they learned a lot . They wear disguises to make sure they don't get laughed at which makes Twilight Sparkle laugh to end the episode. Good Point: -They learned that they shouldn't exploit being friends with someone famous to get friends. Bad Point: -Half the episode. Just wow. Its an okay episode but not a good one. 6.5/10. Next up is the "It Ain't easy being Breezies" review.

"It Ain't Easy Being Breezies" review: The episode opens up as they get ready for the breezies. These are those little creatures Fluttershy went to visit in "Three's a Crowd". The pegasi have to create a gust of wind strong enough to allow them to go home but not so strong that they get blown away. The others work on their cheer which they have to try to make it soft. They get it right finally. This opens the theme. The episode opens back up as they get ready for the breezie migration. Fluttershy gives information on them to the cakes. Oh gosh Rarity that's one bright dress. And that is bright too. And here comes the breezies. Hasbro didn't change much except they speak in a foreign language. Anyway Spike causes a leaf to fall which makes the other breezies fall behind the other group. Fluttershy saves them. The leader is Seabreeze. Oh Spike its okay. It was an accident . The breezies aren't sure they can yet because they are shaken up pretty bad. Fluttershy takes them home and takes care of them. The others wonder if the breezies are ready and of course they aren't. I wouldn't want to know what Seabreeze just said. Probably some curse words. Seabreeze is not being very nice. Fluttershy gets them a snack. I love the breezies by the way . Fluttershy wants them to go but still the breezies aren't ready except Seabreeze who wants to really bad. They even fake being sick. Rainbow Dash wants to know if the breezies are ready but Fluttershy says they aren't. Seabreeze stop being so mean. Yeah she does have a point I agree. Seabreeze leaves Fluttershy's house to go home but runs into problems on the way and ends up in a beehive making a bunch of bees mad. Fluttershy tells them to back off but they won't till she gets stern with them. Seabreeze gets a talking to by Fluttershy and Seabreeze makes a point and Fluttershy realizes that she isn't being kind to them by keeping them. She goes back to her house and tells them to go and has to be stern. This makes her sad she had to do it this way. The pegasi work on their breeze they need to get them home. Twilight Sparkle uses a spell to turn them into breezies. The mane 6 looks cute as breezies by the way. Thanks to the help they can go home and Seabreeze apologizes to her breezies. They reach their home and the breezies give Fluttershy a flower to put in her hair. Their home is beautiful . Kindness can take many forms and sometimes you can be too kind which Fluttershy writes in the journal. Twilight Sparkle uses the same spell to turn them back to normal and Rainbow Dash wants Twilight Sparkle to turn her into a griffon. Twilight Sparkle says no and the flower in Fluttershy's hair shines to end the episode. Good Points: -For the most part Hasbro didn't change the breezies much. -Fluttershy learned that sometimes being too kind can be a problem. Bad Point: -Seabreeze was a little mean at the beginning. Good episode just wish they hadn't changed the breezies voices. 8.5/10. Up next is the "Somepony to watch over me" review.

"Somepony to watch over me" review: The episode opens up as the Apple family decides that Apple Bloom is old enough to stay home. Her friends are there too. Heh I love their reaction when they hear she can . This opens the theme. Also let me point out that if it weren't for Applejack being so doggone protective this episode would have been great. But hey then they wouldn't learn something right? The episode opens back up as Applejack, Granny Smith and Big Mac leave Apple Bloom behind at home while they head to deliver some pies. That is one big list. They leave and Applejack is worried about Apple Bloom. Wow an older sister worrying. Overprotective much? She heads back to check on Apple Bloom. Apple Bloom gets to work on her chores and is done in no time. She makes her own decisions. But Applejack comes in. Oh jeez she's staying? And "Baby Sister"? She tries to show she's responsible but Applejack thinks otherwise. Oh boy. Boy do I feel for you Apple Bloom. Apple Bloom goes to talks about her being overprotective and once again tries to show she is more responsible. Oh jeez Applejack. Why don't you put training wheels on her.... AW JEEZ APPLEJACK! THIS IS RIDICULOUS. She even put plastic over everything. If she puts a diaper on Apple Bloom I'm gonna scream. Let me just verify what I'm talking about. In an episode of "The amazing world of Gumball" Gumball and his brother take care of their younger sister and they do everything to keep her safe even putting a diaper on her in case she has an accident. See this is why I don't care much for this episode. Its embarrassing to watch. Apple Bloom is right. She asks her friends to come over and she decides to deliver the pies to the town Applejack was going to and they come up with an escape plan with the other 2 having her back. She sings some song and I can't find the name of it. But I guess that's because they cut her off before Applejack comes in. She heads off. Better get into places gals. Applejack comes in and buys the ruse. Stop already Applejack. Jeez. Way to go Scoot-a-loo. They spill the beans about where she went. Applejack asks them if she brought anything to help her out and they say no and Applejack leaves to go find her. Apple Bloom is on her way to the delivery and encounters a chimera. I guess this is why she should have packed that stuff. They want the pies and Apple Bloom. They give chase but Apple Bloom evades them for a bit. The chimera's heads argue. Applejack appears and tames the chimera. Applejack talks to Apple Bloom and in the end she realizes she doesn't need to baby her. They both take the pies to the town together. Applejack says she can trust Apple Bloom now to end the episode. Good Point: -Apple Bloom showed she can take care of herself. Bad Point: -The fact Applejack kept babying Apple Bloom. This was an okay episode but come on. 7.5/10. Next up is the "Maud Pie" review. Good episode here .

Maud Pie is a good episode. Just goes to show that not everyone in Pinkie Pie's family is as exuberant as she is. And I like Maud she's kinda funny in her own way . Anyway here's: "Maud Pie" review: The episode opens up as the others are coming to Sugar corner because Pinkie Pie asked them to. She comes out and pulls them in to make.... Rock candy. A teensy bit overboard? I'd say a lot overboard . This opens the theme. The episode opens back up as they are taste testing all the candy. Wait its made from real rocks? Its made of a special rock Pinkie Pie says. She made it for them too so they can make necklaces. We even see a cute backflash of them as kids. This might be the last time they see each other for awhile. Wow she's like all of them. They go to have a picnic as they wait for Maud. Their all nervous of meeting her. Pinkie Pie arrives but Maud is a bit behind. So uh that's uh Maud? Yeah she doesn't get excited much. They are happy to meet her. Don't get too excited Maud . She does have a pet. Its a rock. Well that does make sense because she works on a rock farm. As the picnic goes on she eats a rock. By the way her pet is named "Boulder". They play a game called Camouflage. Its like "Hide and seek". Oh Maud your so silly . They say she is different. Yeah Boulder is a rock. Maybe she's shy? Nah I don't think so. They decide to talk to her one on one. Rarity: Rarity shows Maud her love for fashion and Maud wants a dress but its just one piece of cloth. Fluttershy: Fluttershy shows her love for animals but Maud sees a rock not the spider. Twilight Sparkle: Twilight Sparkle shows her love for poetry and Maud recites her own poems about rocks . Applejack: Applejack shows her love for apples and Maud mangles one. Maud says it tastes like apples. Rainbow Dash: Rainbow Dash shows her love for fun and Maud threw a rock big enough to cause a tidal wave but she isn't much into winning. They all tell the truth about how they feel about Maud. This makes Pinkie Pie sad. They realize they made Pinkie Pie sad. Pinkie Pie has an idea. A combined place of all their favorites. Will this work? We'll see. Maud has to save Pinkie Pie. Wow she can move fast when she wants. Maud scolds her. She decides to go back to the rock farm. They decide that this is what Maud is. They all love Pinkie Pie and that's their common interest. Aw they love each other. They tell her that they have something in common which is how much they love Pinkie Pie. Uh she's excited? She doesn't show it in a way as Pinkie Pie does. They all give her rock candy necklaces. She shows all the necklaces that Pinkie Pie made. She might not like candy but she loves Pinkie Pie. This ends the episode. Good Points: -Maud. That's all I gotta say. -That they realized they all have something in common. Great episode. See that's why I loved this episode. 10/10. Next up is the "For whom the Sweetie Belle toils" review. Its an okay episode. I do like the whole "Christmas Carol" twist they put on it though .

*Sighs* This episode is okay for what its worth. Its a waste of episode though because well.... its just more or less a small story turned into a big one. I do like Luna's big part in the episode though. Anyway here's:
"For whom the Sweetie Belle Toils" review:
The episode opens up as Rarity gets stuff ready for Sapphire Shores. This of course is with the help of Sweetie Belle. She might be able to help Sweetie Belle with her dresses. She needs them for tomorrow night for her show and Rarity decides to help and OMG! They need a lot of help. This opens the theme.
The episode opens back up at a play that Sweetie Belle was talking about and Rarity barely makes it. They all do well except for one thing. Rarity and the others didn't stay and all the audience can talk about are the dresses.
Sweetie Belle gives Rarity an earful telling her this is just like her birthday party. Sweetie Belle is jealous.
Sweetie Belle is mad so she decides to destroy the dress that Rarity is making for Sapphire Shores. See this is one reason I didn't like the episode. Its way too drawn out. Sweetie Belle has a dream about being famous. This turns into a nightmare. Luna saves her. See this is a dream. She tells her she has the same "Sister problem". The nightmare continues to the past during her fifth birthday party. She had found her party going on without her. She remembers this as a total disaster. See? Christmas Carol. Luna shows her what really happened.
What really happened was that her friends were getting bored so Rarity showed the stuff she made and the dresses. She even admits that this was Sweetie Belle's idea. Sweetie Belle follows Luna into the..... Present.
This is that night. We really see how this was a big stressful night. She hopes it goes okay and Luna shows a doorway to the future.
And boy what a bleak future it is. The dress falls apart and Rarity is the laughing stock and Sapphire Shores never wants her to create anything for her again. Sweetie Belle now feels bad about what she did. Rarity even gives up being a dressmaker. Sweetie Belle wakes up and now feels remorse for what she did and is too late as Rarity has gone to Cantelot.
Sweetie Belle seeks the help of her friends. At the show things are going great as they arrive but can't get in. Sweetie Belle grabs the headdress to restitch what she did. Luna helps her. Rarity brings the headdress to Sapphire Shores and its better than ever. She loves it because she loves dolphins and its her lucky animal. Sweetie Belle apologizes and Sweetie Belle says the costumes were better than the play. They hug to end the episode.
Good Points:
-That it worked out okay in the end. -Luna's big part in the episode.
Bad Point:
-The whole episode was way too drawn out.
This episode was okay. 6.5/10. Next up is yet another part of "Keys to Friendship" miniseries "Leap of Faith" which is an okay episode just wish they hadn't made it to where the "Flim Flam brothers" returned. By the way I'l finish up season 4 tomorrow with the last 5 episodes.

This episode could have been done better. For one the flim flam brothers are back and I hated them. Also if this was supposed to be Applejack learning to be honest then why does she lie? Anyway here's:
"Leap of Faith" review:
The episode opens up with the apple family at a lake. They are all swimming except Granny Smith who complains about her back. We even see her as a filly. Big Mac scares Apple Bloom by pretending to be a shark to open the theme.
The episode opens back up as they are talking about Granny Smith's old day and Apple Bloom wants to be a high diver but they suggest against it. They hear a commotion. Everyone is heading toward the music. Its coming from a tent. Inside are the... Flim Flam brothers? Didn't they learn their lesson last time? Guess not. They talk of a tonic that can make anyone feel young again and cures ailments. Yeah right.
They sing "Flim Flam Miracle Curative Tonic" to prove this works and even has a pony take a sip. Yeah we already know that if those 2 are around that can't be good. They even convince Granny Smith to buy a jar. Yep I'm worried too Applejack.
Applejack tells of how worried she is and Granny Smith shows she feels as good as she used to. She isn't as scared as she was. Wow. I don't think this stuff actually works. Applejack decides to get the bottom of this and asks them how it works. They even see the pony from before and ask him. Something is fishy.
She even asks them about it too. They admit it might be nothing more than apple juice. She decides not to tell the truth.
Applejack thinks Granny Smith she needs to take it easy and Apple Bloom wants them to enter into a competition. Granny Smith agrees after Applejack talks to her. The Flim Flam brothers sell Granny Smith more tonic and Applejack says its true and they believe it.
At the competition Applejack cheers them on but tells them to be careful. Boy they really are selling it with Applejack's approval to back it up. Apple Bloom and Granny Smith are doing great. They even get a perfect 10 and win. The same pony is seen. He tells Applejack honesty isn't the best policy and Applejack thinks she didn't do a good thing by lying and sees Granny Smith on the high dive to break the record. Applejack saves her and scolds her.
Applejack looks at the jar and realizes she was lying and tells the truth. The pony from before gives her the coin he received from selling that tonic after admitting that he was wrong. Granny Smith says she won't stop swimming and the brothers have left.
Applejack writes in the journal about what she learned about honesty in the journal and the coin shines to end the episode.
Good Point:
-Applejack was finally honest at the end.
Bad Point:
-That Applejack had to lie so she didn't hurt anyone's feelings.
Not the best episode. 5/10. Next up is tonight's final review the "Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3" review. This episode is good just kinda boring.

I'm in the home stretch of season 4. Also by the way yes I will be doing some "Season 5" reviews next year. Again this episode isn't bad just boring and unnecessary but I did like Pinkie Pie rapping and how they solved the problem. Here's: "Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3" review: The episode opens up with Twilight Sparkle reading a book when Rainbow Dash comes in. Rainbow Dash saw Twilight Sparkle and heard her muttering about the wonderbolts history test and Twilight Sparkle tells her its important. Twilight Sparkle decides to tutor Rainbow Dash and this opens the episode. The episode opens back up as Twilight Sparkle starts tutoring Rainbow Dash and shows her a book. Reading and highlighting. I like that. Okay wow. Rainbow Dash that's a lot. Okay I admit there are some funny parts in this episode but still its boring. I do like it when Rainbow Dash draws a picture of Twilight Sparkle in the book though . Next. History lecture. Come on Rainbow Dash just get through the boring lesson so I can be done with this boring episode. Twilight Sparkle: I heard that. Its true. Its not your fault this is boring. Its Hasbro's. Anyway Rainbow Dash is starts tilting the chair, Spike and Owlowicious come in to join in her . Twilight Sparkle: That's not funny. Come on. You have to admit it is funny. BUSTED! That didn't work either. Next. Flashcards. We see a spitwad flying past Twilight Sparkle. *Giggles* Twilight Sparkle: Stop laughing. This is a serious episode. Its serious alright. SERIOUSLY BORING! The only good parts are when Rainbow Dash is fooling around. Time for a pop quiz. She failed. So if she failed this she's gonna fail the real test. Rainbow Dash flies out knowing she might fail and blames it on Twilight Sparkle and Twilight Sparkle says everything is to know. Their friends sees them fighting and they decide to help them. A play is put on by Fluttershy and her animals of what happened in the past. This goes awry though. Pinkie Pie liked it. Rainbow Dash is now confused. Pinkie Pie sings.... err raps about the wonderbolts in a rap called "The history of the wonderbolts rap" *Yeah I added that part in* Rainbow Dash tries her hand at this but still doesn't get it and yeah I agree that that was terrible. Rarity tries to help Rainbow Dash now. She shows it in fashion ways. The others help too. Applejack can't help either and they all argue about what can help. She now feels she can't pass and tells them to forget it. Twilight Sparkle decides to talk to her and Rainbow Dash says forget it and says that she was right. After their flight Rainbow Dash remembers what she saw which gives Twilight Sparkle an idea. They all talk about Twilight Sparkle's plans. Twilight Sparkle invites Rainbow Dash on a fly. As they talk there's something that happens which we'll get to after the flight. Rainbow Dash says all the stuff she saw which is the history of the wonderbolts. How? Twilight Sparkle set it all up to help her learn since she only learns by what she sees. Rainbow Dash is like me in a way. I learn by seeing too. At the test she passes. Twilight Sparkle also writes what she learns in the journal as well. This ends the episode. Good Points: -They all learn that everyone learns at their own pace. -Rainbow Dash fooling around was the saving grace of the episode. -"The wonderbolts history rap" was awesome. Bad Point: -For almost the whole episode it was boring. It was an okay episode. Not bad just boring and unnecessary. 6/10. Tomorrow I finish up season 4 of my reviews. After Sunday the "Tales" episodes will be during the week. And don't forget to keep an eye out for my "G3" reviews starting next week with "A Very Minty Christmas" which is an awesome movie .

Trade Ya is an okay episode. But seriously this episode was kinda meh. Anyway we are in the home stretch of my FiM reviews. Tomorrow is my "Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks" review which will end my seasons 1-4 reviews. So without further ado here's:
"Trade Ya" review:
The episode opens up as they arrive at the trade fair and everyone notices Twilight Sparkle even after she thinks no one will. This opens the theme.
The episode opens back up as they get ready for the trade fair. Each wanting his or her own thing they want to trade for. Twilight Sparkle has to be the judge of if a trade is fair or not. Also everyone wants her autograph. Rainbow Dash wants a first edition "Daring Do" book and Fluttershy wants a bird whistle. The others want to go to the vintage booth and Applejack and Rarity decide to pool their tradings for something. Twilight Sparkle wants to trade her books.
Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy arrive at the booth that has the book and the trade isn't easy. The trader pony wants an Orthros. This 2 headed beast is mean.
Applejack and Rarity wants something but its gonna cost them all their stuff. This is a problem. A dirty pie tin? Okay then. This is what Applejack wants and Rarity wants.. a brooch. One that looks exactly like the one she wearing which gets them into an argument.
That is one mean Orthros. But go figure that Fluttershy would be the one to tame it. The trader wants a lamp. The trader has all Discord shaped lamp and wants an antique chicken statue. The trader there wants a crystal chalice. That trader wants a rusty old horseshoe which Rainbow Dash has. The chalice breaks.
Twilight Sparkle has a trader who wants the books for a broken pen but Pinkie Pie stops it. Pinkie Pie come on. Bribery Pinkie Pie? Really.
They fix the chalice but the trader with chickens break it for a painting but they don't know what kind of chicken the other trader wants so Rainbow Dash goes to ask while Fluttershy stands guard which doesn't work so she goes instead.
Rarity and Applejack now argue about what they should get.
Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy arrive back at the booth but he's on break.
Pinkie Pie starts bartering with the ponies on Twilight Sparkle's books.
They see the trader but he won't go back to the booth since he's hungry. Rainbow Dash has an idea. They work to make things go faster at the food booth. They now can finally trade the Orthros to the trader.
Applejack and Rarity argue again.
Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy makes it to the booth thanks to Fluttershy's bear call. The trader no longer wants the Orthros. She doesn't want it because she saw how mean this dog was but after seeing how well Fluttershy handled it the trader agrees to the trade on one condition.... Fluttershy comes and trains it. This makes Rainbow Dash realize she didn't make a good trade.
Twilight Sparkle tells Pinkie Pie after awhile that she no longer wants to trade her books because they're important to her. Rainbow Dash now wants to have Twilight Sparkle say that a trade was unfair. But she can't since it was. Rainbow Dash tells them why it wasn't and the trade is off after the trader agrees. The trade fair is over.
Everyone got what they wanted even if it was something less. Even Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. Twilight Sparkle now gives Rainbow Dash her her old book. This ends the episode.
Good Points:
-The fact that everyone got something they wanted even if it wasn't what they originally wanted. -Rainbow Dash showed true loyalty in this episode.
Bad Point:
-The episode was kinda drawn out on the fact that Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy had to trade stuff.
Good episode just loooooonnnnnggggggg. 7.5/10 Next up is an okay episode. The "Inspiration Manifestation" review.

Some people say this episode is great but to me its kinda eh. Its another wasted episode really. Anyway here's:
"Inspiration Manifestation" review:
The episode opens up as the Foal and Filly Fair is starting. Rarity is making a puppet theater thanks to help from Spike. The puppeteer doesn't like it since it doesn't travel and not enough room. This makes Rarity upset. This opens the theme.
The episode opens back up with Rarity being upset. She's indulging on ice cream. Spike goes to the castle of the 2 sisters. He brought Owlowicious. Spike pulls on a book and finds a secret passage which leads to a book. Its no ordinary book though. This might not go well. Spike has her use a spell in it to inspire Rarity. Oh boy here we go. She tries out the new powers and they work. Everything starts to become beautiful.
She goes to see the puppeteer with her new theater. He likes it. More things to do. Something doesn't feel right as she doesn't want to part with it just yet. Even Owlowicious believes this.
Rarity has been busy since Spike left. And I mean busy. Her eyes are weird. I don't like this. She wants to keep it longer. Rarity continues to beautify everything which makes things worse. She says they shouldn't tell them anything and the 3 of them will keep it a secret. Spike, her and the book.
Now Rainbow Dash? Wow. This seems excessive. Now Fluttershy. She makes the birdhouse into a bird mansion. Yeah right you don't love it Spike. The madness continues at a party.
Rarity isn't stopping. Even Spike falls victim. Twilight Sparkle sees what's happening and informs him on the happenings around. Will the madness ever end? Owlowicious tells Spike to tell the truth.
Spike decides its time to take action. He has to take the book away from her. Perfect plan? Spike follows the path of ponies. He sees Rarity and tries to take the book from her. This doesn't work either. He finally takes it but after swallowing the book the spell isn't broken. Spike finally tells the truth which finally breaks the spell.
Spike writes in the journal about what he learned. Twilight Sparkle isn't happy about what he did. This ends the episode.
Good Point (And might I add the only good point):
-Spike finally told the truth.
Bad Point:
-The whole episode. It was based around Rarity trying to beautify everything. What could have made it better is if a monster came out of the book after the spell broke making this a 2 parter.
Not one of the best episodes in my opinions. 5/10. Next up is..... UGH! The "Equestria Games" review. Here's another almost wasted episode.

Equestria games would have been a nice "Pony Olympics" episode but its more than just that. The whole episode revolves around Spike being down on himself. This is why I say this is an almost wasted episode. Anyway here's: "Equestria Games" review: The episode opens up as they head to the Crystal Empire for the Equestria games. You know. THE ONE THEY'VE BEEN PRACTICING FOR FOR ALMOST A WHOLE SEASON! Jeez. They're all excited. Rainbow Dash invigorates them all. They all hope for gold but Rainbow Dash says they have a chance to be awesome. This opens the theme. The episode opens back up as they arrive in the Crystal Empire and Spike is taken away for some reason. When he arrives at the castle Cadence tells him why he was taken away. He's gonna light the opening torch. Why? Because of what he did in "The Crystal Empire part 2". At the games they are ready for the events. Spike walks up to the torch to light and the delegation from Ponyville arrives. Spike goes to light the torch but as he goes to light it he gets so nervous he can't. Now this would have been an okay episode if this would have been the only time Spike chokes but nooooooooo!!!!! Spike continues to try and light the torch and Twilight Sparkle has to. Spike is now overconfident. He tries to give autographs that catch on fire but Twilight Sparkle tells him the truth. The Equestria games continue and...... WHAT THE? NO CASTING SPELLS? This is gonna end in disaster. You'll find out why later. Spike wants another chance for the Equestria Games. He decides to do something else. Cloudsdale got first and Shining Armor congratulates them. Spike wants to sing the anthem and guess what? He thinks its the Ponyville anthem. *Hoofpalms* SERIOUSLY HASBRO!? I mean its silly but come on. Anyway Spike sings the "Cloudsdale Anthem" and since he's never heard it before he comes up with lyrics that don't even fit which is funny but come on. 2 failures in one episode? Plus listen to that singing. Its almost as bad as the CMCs were in "Show Stoppers". I do love everyone's reaction to him singing this song though . Also did Pinkie Pie say "Nailed it"? According to the Cloudsdale's team's faces I think not. The Cutie Mark Crusaders go to see if he's okay and Spike is packing knowing that he might as well since he's screwed everything else up. Meanwhile at the games its time for the last event. Ice arrow archery. Now keep in mind they disabled the unicorn's magic before they entered the arena. Twilight Sparkle comes to see if Spike is okay and they tell her that he is in his room. Twilight Sparkle convinces him to come. And here comes the part as to why the disabling spell was a bad idea. One of the pegasi knocks over his arrows and trips over them shooting an ice arrow into the air causing a cloud to get heavy with ice causing it to become so heavy it starts falling. SEE THIS IS WHY THE DISABLING SPELL WAS A BAD IDEA! They were just asking for this type of accident to occur. Anyway no one can stop it except for Spike who uses his fire breath to melt the ice. They all thank him. Twilight Sparkle tells him that he wasn't letting any of them down he was letting himself down. NAW YOU THINK!? Spike wishes he could start over but Cadence tells him he can light the fireworks at the ending ceremony. At the closing ceremony Spike does just that. And Ponyville won the medal count. Spike writes about what he learned in the journal. This ends the episode. Good Points: -Spike finally realizing he didn't let anyone down. -Spike singing the "Cloudsdale Anthem" was hilarious. Bad Points: -That the episode was called "Equestria Games" which half the episode wasn't about the Equestria games. It was about Spike. If this was an episode about the games make it about the games. Sheesh. -The disabling spell idea. Who's dumb idea was that? That's just asking for an accident to happen. Ugh. This episode would have been fine if it was just about the games and didn't have the whole "Disabling Spell" idea. 6/10. Next up is the 2 part season finale "Twilight's Kingdom" review. Man I love this episode. Don't much care for Tirek's new powers or his backstory. He's a good villain don't get me wrong but whatever happened to "SILENCE!" and "If by midnight my chariot is not rolling the head of your friend will"? That's the Tirek we remember.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to find the disabling spell stupid. And it's only purpose was to set things up so only Spike could save the day. Thank you for making this arc a complete piece of trash.
