Leave it to brony analysts to destroy one of the timeless holiday classics with their obnoxious humor and belief they improve everything they touch. They parodied A Charley Brown Christmas. The only only thing worse than the video itself is that the upvote/downvote ratio is 75:1 and it's being showered with praise. Schultz must be rolling his grave in response to this thing existing.

Jeez. Just torture Charles schultz in his grave people. I hate people who parody Christmas classics and get praised for it. I don't mind a parody of a movie if its done right but if its done wrong forget it

The thing is, if they had done a parody of Christmas Vacation, I would have loved it because the context of that movie fits perfectly with this brand of humor. A Charlie Brown Christmas just doesn't.
Did you sit down and watch the Brony Christmas special?

What I hate was how they parodied the tree. The little Christmas tree was the cutest part of A Charlie Brown Christmas. It started out small and sickly, dropping needles when it was disturbed. Yet, if you watched closely you notice it gets bigger and healthier as time goes by and it's more loved. Then, when everyone decorates it its a full tree. It kind of represented the Christmas spirit.
Here they break it over Silver's head and turn it into an artificial sun. They took some cute and heartwarming and made it into a horrible gag.

I've seen worse. There was a Comedy Central parody of A Charlie Brown Christmas that had Charlie as am Islamic terrorist who tried to blow up the Christmas celebration with a bomb he'd made. Yes, a faulty homemade bomb took the place of the tree. After that, this "parody" really doesn't do much to offend me other than make me roll my eyes in annoyance.

Could someone transcripe this? I'm deaf and I would like to know what is being said. I thought it was rather cute, but I do see where you guys are coming from. It could have been better.
