WOW, someone on the Arena got a copy of the G1 MLP & Friends writer's guide, and we now know what Megan's intended full name was: Megan Williams.

13?! Wow. They seriously needed to change her character design then. There's nooooo waaaaay Megan is 13 in the show. Add 2 or 3 to that at least. Danny was maybe 13. I always assumed Molly was 9 or 10.

The poster posted Megan's character sheet. You know, I thought the comparison of the fan reaction to Megan with that to Wesley Crusher was just a little joke I made in my Rescue at Midnight Castle review. Little did I know at the time they were shooting for a Wesley Crusher character on purpose. What were some writers smoking in the 80's?

13?! I thought she was ten. And how on earth did they get a hold of that?!

Molly was six, Danny ten, and Megan 13. They are just myths in my Ponyverse. That was the age I always saw them as.

I'm guessing that Megan must have been eleven in the original special, and she's aging in real time, kind of like Max Goof.

Absolutely perfect. Flawless, flawless Megan. Because little kids love teenagers. But not teenagers who act like teenagers." Uh. I thought Megan was more around 15 or 16 in MLP & Friends. Guess not . . .

Also "This is Megan who lives across some kind of dimensional divide from Ponyland, but is more competent about the ways of this world than the ponies who have lived their entire lives there."
Sadly, this is far from the worst Hasbro threw at us. Ever seen the Charmkin special?

I recall the Charmkins. That was my sisters thing. I don't remember a special though.
I vividly remember a mail order Charmkin, King Dandylion? That was my sisters pride and joy, until it got lost in the tornado, only for her to find it again inside Primroses pocket Pop with Primrose.

I barely, barely remember the Charmkins special. I'll look it up on Youtube at some point.
Mostly I remember the box saying Brown-Eyed Susan (the only Charmkin I owned, incidentally) was voiced by the little girl from "Annie".

Guess not . . . Actually, if she was 13 in the specials (like say 13 in Rescue from Midnight Castle and 14 in Escape from Catrina), then in the movie and the series she WOULD be 15 or 16. I always thought she was 12. Danny was like 10 or 11, and Molly was 5 or 6. - §parky
