MLP #124 - Twirler and the Whispering Whirligig

Another of the later comics, #124, Twirler and the Whispering Whirligig!















I love how there's a bathtub just randomly standing in a field.

The Hubble Bubbles actually appeared in a previous issue. CONTINUITY!













You may notice the story above has a slightly different style than the others in this comic . . . More like earlier comics. I believe this is because one of the "recycled" comics. What do I mean by recycled, you ask? Well, at some point they started reprinting previously run stories . . . and just making up new dialogue for them! They usually seem a little bit "off" to me . . .

I'm convinced that whoever made these comics was tripping acid HARD.

I had similar thoughts when I read "It's like a huge plum pudding, but it's blue and it whirls through the sky and WHISPERS!"

Yeah...without doubt, the artists behind this were seeing the music and hearing the colors.

Hell, the entire Jack Frost sequence reads like something a Hunter S. Thompson would see while standing in a toy store staring at a shelf of pony toys then had it adapted into comic form.
Other than that, though, EVERY panel of the issue, start to finish, has a new fun piece of insanity decorating it.
I refuse to believe a sober person wrote this.

They were definetly not sober while writing this. LOL! I loved Mend-it growing up.
