From reading this, it kinda feels like a remake of Bratz if they went ahead with it

If they're planning any kind of spin-off, I'd imagine that kind of thing would stay behind closed doors with only the "need to know" knowing until they're ready to go forward with it. Then why release an article about it? If one were genuinely being planned I don't see why they would keep their own staff in the dark and print something like this. It would be a bit of a coincidence too if there were secret plans and a fake article at the same time. And leaked information has to come from somewhere.

I think they would, they must know some if not all their staff use twitter facebook tumblar ect or blog so if they dont let them in on it its an effective way to gag them that or they spread an untrue rumor to hide what they are really up to

I was talking about the particulars of it. It's not unreasonable that they're keeping the juiciest bits of info to themselves until they're ready.

I feel that this might be a Brony stirring up the masses with false information. Hasbro is usually pretty good at letting us ghost writers know when a new show is proposed.

i.imgur.com/iDS06Sw.jpgThey are truly coming upon us. I've already dubbed them Equus sapiens. The mix of human and animal reminds me of Road Runner to an extent. However, this is going to be a completely different series. All I have to say is this. If they believe the only way they can attract preteens to MLP is by making them not ponies, then they shouldn't be trying.

I agree. :/
Also, if they're going to have weird skin/hair colors, tails, pointy ears and wings, then why no horns? Eh. This is kind of depressing.

Maybe Twilight and Rarity and use magic with their hands.

To me, this is another pathetic attempt at trying to humanize MLP. Hasbro tried it before during G3. They sold humanized toys of the only seven ponies they already released before. This is going to fail, epically. I have refused to have anything to do with it.

I'm of a "Wait and See" opinion right now. The show could surprise us. The thing is, Hasbro's strength is science fiction and fantasy. I hope they remember that when making this show and not just make it high school with semi-ponies.

I'll give it chance. If I like it, I like it. If I don't, I don't. No sweat off my brow if I don't. I just won't watch it.

Well that makes the crush on Rarity slightly disturbing.
