Hello... *looks round* Don't know if anyone here actually would know who I am, since I don't post much on pony boards (...or...anywhere...) but I've been 'round on pony boards for a few years now. I still feel like a stranger.
It all started from a random exploration to the wide world web, from writing of three little words to Google some time back in 2004. Or actually, it really started back in the 80s with one little plastic toy with big eyes and a silly, happy grin and a TV show that made me dream.
Poetics aside, I've always loved stories, and I can't remember a time that I would not have loved My Little Ponies. It stands to reason that those two love affairs would mingle -- I must have come up with a hundred MLP stories as a child. Then I grew up and my attention moved to other things for a long time -- until 2003, when the new ponies came to shops. That's when all the little stories I had played out with my toy ponies took shape in my mind, got influenced by the new ponies storming the shops, and all of a sudden I had come up with a fanfiction story.
I called it Dreaming the Rainbow. First drafts of the first part (The Birth of Dreams) were written long before I ever poked my head out into the MLP forums, which happened somewhere around year 2005. Imagine my surprise when I found out that I wasn't the only one in the world writing MLP fanfiction!
...you can probably tell by now that I can get a little wordy sometimes. Okay. A lot wordy. >_>
Anyway, I found the courage to start posting my MLP fanfiction to ff.net only a few years ago, and since the whole story currently exists mostly in my head instead of on paper (digital or real) I'm afraid I don't have awful lot of it to show and tell, but seeing as writing (and, eventually, reading) MLP fanfiction was what lured me to the MLP forums, I figured I couldn't miss out on poking my head in here, especially when I saw that the forum was populated by other MLP authors I have come to admire.
So, here I am! I'm still looking around the place, so give me a little time to get my bearings straight...
