I wouldn't get my hopes up, especially since the trash they produced called season three. It is still too early for previews, and there is a chance season 4 might not happen.

I highly doubt Season 4 won't happen. The episodes are paid for the scripts are more or less written. I can't think of any reason why they would cancel.

In the past Hasbro have listend to the fans, with the return of Optimus Prime, Derpy's offical name and so on, there could be a chance that they will either use Trixie or just simply return Twilight to her origonal form (many fans still dont like it)

I consider season three trash after the quality of the first two seasons. Quality took a nosedive. Season three of Sonic the Hedgehog was paid for, given a time slot, yet still it got canceled.

Well, there was no Amy Keating Rogers stories, Meghan McCarthy only wrote the premier, and M.A. Larson only wrote two episodes. Also, the bad episodes and parts of episodes were magnified by the shortened season. It was overall lackluster, but I don't think it means the series is going down the tubes. It was just a rough patch.

As for Sonic the Hedgehog, I think the year it was supposed to have its third season was the year the e/i quota went into enforcement. A lot of shows were cancelled because of that like Freakazoid and Road Rovers. That might have also been the year ABC was bought out by Disney.

Either way, I doubt such upheavals are coming to the Hub and Friendship is Magic is still insanely popular. They're going to at least give Princess Twilight a season.

You've told us a dozen times that you didn't like Season 3, already. Do you really need to keep repeating it?

Another reason Sonic SATAM's Season 3 didn't happen because it's rating slipped thanks to it being put up against Power Rangers and getting crushed by it. FIM is suffering no such ratings slip. In fact, the Season 3 finale is the all-time most watched episode of the series.

And why has it occurred to no one but Al and myself that Season 3's issues are the result of the 13 episode limit?

I can already tell that you won't be pleased with anything Season 4 does, regardless of what it does. Honestly, sunstar, I wouldn't even bother watching Season 4 if I were as cynical about it as you are.

I came to this board to appreciate My Little Pony and its various incarnations and I do still like FIM. You have every right to your opinion, but please, do not turn every future discussion of the show sour with your cynical attitude towards it.
