I have fallen in love with Lego's new series, Legends of Chima. in fact, I am writing a fanfic set in the world of Chima.
A new Ultrabuild is discovered after it wiped out the Skunk tribe. It is Gornay, who expresses his deep guilt and regret over what he has done. he is punished with 3 months a victim in the Outlands. That means he will spend ten years in the outlands because he killed forty people.
15 years go by. The golden Chi has appeared and there is a Speedor Race for the Chi. During the race, Laval has an accident that very nearly takes his life. It is through the quick actions of Cragger that he is saved. Laval spends the next 16 days in a coma like state in which he learns what happened to the ancient Guardians, and of the price paid by the lion guardian Lion-O.
In the meantime, the lion Elders are considering summoning Lion-O. Head Elder Ligon decides to wait after hearing a report from Logas and Libra that Laval had warned them not to. Laval awakens and begins to recover.
The Ravens and the Eagles start complaining that they can't navigate by the stars at night anymore because the stars are gone. They demand answers from the Lion Tribe, who have no answers to give. Laval believes answers lay in the Outlands. He has almost completely recovered from the accident. Things get even worse when the falls that feed the Chi pool stop flowing and the Chi begins to run out.
Desperate for answers, Ligon leads the Elders and summons Lion-O. At first they panic upon seeing the Guardian in his new form. Lion-O calms them down and reveals he knows what is going on. There are some answers in the Outlands, but first they must return to the Temple of Chi to try to fix the problem with the Chi falls.
Lion-O reveals that Chima is under attack by the Dark Hand, a tribe made of darkness. If they succeed in raising the Temple of Shadows, darkness will flood Chima and will eventually destroy their world. They must release the Guardians from beyond the doorway if they are to stand a chance.
Any criticism? First chapter is almost finished.
BTW, in this fanfic, there is no war going on. My Cragger doesn't like using Chi. He is also thinking about the throne that will someday be his and he wonders often if he is good enough to be King. Crooler made it clear that she had no desire to rule. She is following in her aunt, Crona's footsteps and become a healer. Crona is the big sister of Crominus and is believed to be a bit off. She is blind and like Crooler, flat out refused to become queen. She does advise the tribe Kings and Queens from time to time. She does not leave her grove so they have to come to her. Ligon is the head elder of the Lion Tribe. He cares for his Tribe and was the one who raised King Lagravis, Laval's father, after his parents died when he was an infant. Ligon is a skilled medic and can often be found in the infirmary tending to patients. He has treated animals from all of the tribes. He also handled the treatment plan for Laval after his accident.
