Yay, this was mutch more exciting than the My little pony Tales And the winner is episode was.
I really sorry for Twilight Sparkle because her friends made mutch more difficult to chose who she take to the Grand Galopping Gala.

I'm a little disappointed because I hoped I could see the Grand Galopping Gala. The only thing I surely know is that the Gala is very popular which isn't new for me. The different ponies discriped it in different ways as they wanted to.

I liked when Rainbow Dash fell down between Twilight Sparkle and Applejack.

Applejack: Rainbow Dash, what are you doing here? You said you can't help harvesting because you are very buisy.
Rainbow Dash: I was. I was buisy to sleeping.

and there was a pillow on the tree.

We learn that Fluttershy's pet bunny's bame is Angle who stole the tickets from Twilight Sparkle.

Fluttershy looked like Cynderella when she was cleaning out the librarry.

Oh, and when Rainbow Dash made a hole on the rain cloud just for Twilight Sparkle and Twilight Sparkle order to her to close the cloud. ;D
Well finally a pony was eating or at least tried to eat out in a restaurant + we learned what Spike likes to eat.

It wasn't nice from Pinkie Pie when she announced to a group of ponies that Twilight Sparkle has an extra ticet to the Grand Galopping Gala.

Good episode! Great character development!

Well, I had my doubts when I saw the episode blurb--I was never a Tales fan and there was a Tales show with a very similar plot--but how wrong I was to worry. How very, very wrong.

LOVED:

- The bet with Big McIntosh at the beginning--"he's gonna walk down Stirrup Street in one of Granny's girdles!"

- That Big McIntosh has to PLOW THE FIELDS HIMSELF. WITH A PLOW.

- Granny Smith's hip. I just about died at the pony walker. ;D

- Spike's "barfy face" at every mention of the Gala.

- That Canterlot is specifically "the capitol city."

- The little pony phrases. "I'd give my left hind leg to go." "Goody-four-shoes." "Well, wallop my withers!"

- HOOF WRASSLING. Grrrr!

- "LIVING the DREAM." Oh, Rainbow Dash!

- Pinkie Pie: "Ahhhh, bats! Bats on my face!" *dies* "And then I said OATMEAL, are you crazy?"

- I love how blatantly manipulative all the ponies are . . . and how Twilight Sparkle isn't fooled for a minute and calls them on it.

- Rarity's Mary Sue fantasy is the stuff of legend. (What do you bet Princess Celestia doesn't even HAVE a nephew? I mean, did Princess Luna spawn him when she was banished to the moon?)

- Fluttershy's bunny has a NAME! Eeee! I love how the traditional MLP theme music plays for Fluttershy so often. And she gets excited about bitterns and loons, not just songbirds!!

- Now we know what ponies eat--daffodil and daisy sandwiches and hay fries.

- The snooty male French pony waiter is my official favorite unnamed character. He has a mustache. Let me repeat that. He has a mustache.

- Nooo, Rainbow Dash isn't trying to bribe Twilight Sparkle. You can trust her! She has a halo!

- Carousel-like pony mannequins = brilliant.

- Little Lord Fauntlespike. *dies again*

- So now we know another Apple Clan pony . . . Auntie Apple Brown Betty.

- Fluttershy is so honest. "Yes, we ARE just doing this for the ticket."

- . . . but not as honest as Pinkie Pie. XD

- And then we get a CHASE SCENE. Glorious.

- Winking again, yay!

- Is anyone else reminded of a zombie movie as Twilight locks the doors and turns out all the lights?

- The ending is pretty convenient, but what the heck, the ride was worth it. (I am disappointed we don't get to see the actual gala, though!)

Dang, I am loving this show. And it has GREAT voice acting.

That was my favorite part.

I like all the detail in these. I think LM mentioned all the stuff that caught my attention--bird species and equine-specific euphemisms and what not. Cool. :B

EDIT: Also, it's kinda neat that they addressed that a dragon might eat differently than a pony, har. Having him eat gemstones was pretty creative, and a little more child friendly than, say, Fluttershy's little furry friends.

I really liked this episode! I was afraid, after the two plot-driven episodes from last week and the week before, that this one might end up a bit dull or a bit too much like the g3 cartoons, but thankfully it was entertaining enough!

I really liked Applejack (and I felt her reasons for going to the gala were the most selfless of all, considering how she just wanted to make money to help her family) and her "and granny smith could replace that saggy old hip!" xD

Spike is a really cool character! I really liked how he acted all indifferent to the gala but was sad in the end... I'm happy he got to go too! And I'm really loving Pinkie Pie in this show. She's just so energetic, and I love her little songs!

I agree, too bad we didn't get to see the actual gala, even if it was just a small clip show from a few events, but oh well

O.K. I absolutely love love love Fluttershy. This episode really showed how timid she is. Reminds me of Sweetheart from MLP Tales. and everyone doing favors wow. reminds me of And the winner is. Sure none of them did favors for Clover but they all wanted to go and she had to decide. and just like Bright Glow I wish we could have seen them going to the Gala not just seeing bits and pieces of it. Anyway the creators really are doing a good job on this MLP show.

I hope so because from Twilight Sparkle's friends daydream I coulfdn't see what is the galopping thing is at the gala. I guess it's so popular because Princess Celestia is there and I hope hope Princess Luna will be there if there will be a Grand Galopping Gala episode.
