Hey guys! Welcome to our new section--the Author & Artist Archives! We created this part of the board so that stories and artwork can be a little easier to browse through. ;D
Here's how this new section works:
1. Every author/artist is allowed to make ONE thread in these sections. If you are just an author, you can make a thread in the Author Archive. If you are just an artist, you can make a thread in the Artist Archive. If you are an author AND an artist, you can make a thread in the Author Archive AND a thread in the Artist Archive. Each thread should be titled something like "So-And-So's Stories/Art".
2. In this thread, you can only have ONE post. This is to make browsing easy. In this single post, you can list your stories/artwork, along with summaries, ratings, warnings, characters involved, etc. Be sure to provide links to your works! In your stories themselves, you can also provide a link back to your archive, so that your readers will be able to find the rest of your stories.
3. Whenever you create a new story/art, you can go to your archive thread and EDIT your post to include the new story/art's summary. You must edit the single post in your thread, not add another post. It is much easier to read through a single post than to constantly go from post to post. If you happen to go over the character limit in your original post, you may then move on to a second post in your thread--but seeing how big the character limit is, it should be a long time before that happens.
4. Again, these threads are for the express purpose of listing authors' and artists' works only. They are not meant for conversations or discussions--that's what the General Board is for. Please, only one post per thread, unless you've gone over your character limit. We want to keep this place clean and simple. Any non-archive-related posts will be deleted.
5. In order to make sure that you've read these instructions, please respond to this thread. Make sure to include the phrase "I'm so excited! Are you so excited!" in your response so that I know you've read it. Delivering said words in a high-pitched Pinkie-Pie-esque voice is optional. ;D If I find anyone creating archive threads without checking in here first, those threads will be locked until they've read the instructions.
Hope you guys enjoy! ;D
