I found this place via a link from MLPArena and/or EQDaily. Though I hope to someday write a fanfic, I'll most likely lurk about reading and commenting til I figure out the whole writing thing.
Though I'm partial to G4, I grew up watching a handful of G1 on tv and rediscovered it during the re-runs on ol' Disney channel Tales version.
I'll admit I've even bought some of the 3/3.5 specials due to a nostalgia fix and even though it didn't capture the feel of the old show I was hoping for they were still good in a watch them with your kid sister sort of way.
