I've been considering creating a comic strip over the past couple of weeks and I thought it might be nice to allow people to audition their original characters for Harmony bearer slots so I'm posting this here to see if anyone might be interested. I haven't decided if it will be set before G4, after G4 or in an entirely different universe but in any case the FiM bearers probably won't be around. I'll be using mostly G1 and OC characters. It's probably easiest to just link to my deviantArt journal for the details. CLICK!

Nice idea!
Feel free to use Sunstar.
Name: Sunstar Age: unknown Type: Dralicorn (Dragon Alicorn) Colors: Yellow body with long red hair Cutie mark: raised sun with a ruby in the center (Think G1 princess ponies) Talents: Able to bend fire to her will, her power comes from the sun. (If you want her to control the Sun, you can) she can cast lightning bolts from her horn, and she can hide in a sun beam. back story: Sunstar was born ages ago in a large kingdom called Riverfalls. At the moment of her birth, her mother died. Sunstar was implanted from her mother's body into the body of her aunt. She was born as a twin to Riverstar, even though they were not made in the same womb. Riverfalls fell shortly after to Mage, a dark guardian of Magic gone evil. Sunstar grew up in Dream Valley. She fought Mage when he attacked and used a powerful spell to set him free from the darkness that possessed him. The spell backlashed, turning a part of Sunstar's soul dark. Sunstar went on to become the Leader of the Guardians of Magic, married Bryon, and gave him two children. One Halloween, Sunstars darkness overtook her, but she was brought back to normal. Deathstar, God of Death, threw himself into finding a cure for Sunstar as she had willingly sacrificed herself to him to protect the world. Deathstar chose to allow her to live because he knew he could not take a force of goodness without damaging the Flow of Magic. The Flow is a ribbon of light and dark magic that flows together outside the demensions. Sunstar began to deteriorate rapidly. Deathstar took the good emotions from the remaining six guardians and created the Elements of Harmony. The elements needed a pure soul of light to wield them, so Deathstar had Sunstar become with foal again by Bryon. Sunstar gave birth to Celestia and her twin, Aries, and later, Luna. For a time everything was fine.
Sunstar finaly succumed to the darkness in her soul. She went on a distructive rampage that destroyed the old world and brought about the mini-extinction by destroying the Flow. She was finally stopped when Grogar trapped her inside Tambelon and sent it into the Realm of Darkness. The survivors, led by Mage and Andromeda, left the old world behind and journied to what would be called Blue Manor where Mage used his magic to create a new sun and moon from the remains of the dead sun and the Flow. Celestia and Luna each took control of the Sun and the Moon. They decided to leave Blue Manor in the spring after losing Mage and Andromeda during the first winter. Another group left to form the Crystal Empire. Luna went Nightmare and was banished, only to come back and be saved by the Elements of Harmony. Tambelon returned and each time, Celestia rang the bell of Liberty to send it back. It returned again ten years after the return of Luna. The bell of liberty was shattered, meaning Tambelon was here to stay. Celestia did not want to fight her mother and was consumed by darkness. She became Nightmare Sun. The current Element holders and Luna journied to Tambelon and unlocked Perfect Harmony. They healed Sunstar of her curse. Sunstar lived for a bit in Canterlot with her daughters and son. She then had the Oribit Star built and took it to the edge of the atmoshere where she worked to undo the damage she had done to nature. Sunstar currently resides inside the Orbit Star with her aide, the pegasus Dainty Dish.

Thanks. The idea originally was to have people enter one OC each but as predicted in the end of my journal entry, my inbox has remained empty. I'm not sure I have enough watchers on there yet. Probably doesn't help that I only have about three rather dodgy pony images in there so far either. I'm stuck using Gimp (which I can't really use at all yet) until I can fix Photoshop so all of my semi-decent images are still on paper waiting to be made digital. In any case it's really up to you. I do have a handful of ponies I can fill gaps in with. I just thought a few people might like to be included.

You can always use Father Crucifix! One over-the-top ham of a nut job priest coming up! ;D mlplexicon.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=mlpff&action=display&thread=1579 ;D Other characters I have in my head, - King Paladin, Queen Majesty's late husband who died helping the last free ponies escape from Earth to Ponyland
- Saint Balam, a sort of Pony Moses who led the Exodus from Earth to the Promised Ponyland and who brought them the Elements of Harmony.
Feel free to use.

Thanks. I'm not sure about Rosary's cutie mark honestly XD sounds a bit grusome but if he's going to be wearing the robe thing I guess it wouldn't be on display anyway. I do have a husband planned for Majesty though he's still alive and doesn't have a name yet. Does Paladin have colours or a cutie mark yet?

Thanks. I'm not sure about Rosary's cutie mark honestly XD sounds a bit grusome but if he's going to be wearing the robe thing I guess it wouldn't be on display anyway. You're very welcome! ;D Well, I do admit that Father Crucifix is a little crazy... I imagine that the Equestrian Church of Nestorious Alicorn is based on and still technically is the Roman Catholic Church. In human terms, he's an RCC Traditionalist albeit one in good standing with the hierarchy. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traditionalist_Catholic#Traditionalists_in_good_standing_with_the_Holy_SeeImagine pony Mel Gibson albeit thinking before he acts. And yes at part of that, his cassock does cover his cutie mark. I do have a husband planned for Majesty though he's still alive and doesn't have a name yet. Does Paladin have colours or a cutie mark yet? No... Paladin doesn't have colors or cutie mark. I imagine him as a pie in the sky idealist, a perfect white knight in shining armor. He grew up hearing stories of heroes like Pegasus and Bucephalus and joined their ranks in the Third Crusade as Richard the Lion Heart's horse. He married Majesty and was content to be her knight but out of love for him she made him king. He has since died and his people quit earth for Ponyland but upon her throne Queen Majesty has his likeness carved.* What colors and cutie mark? As you see, they would have to suggest chivalry** and purity of heart. Just one look at him and you know he's the true king. The colors as white and gold? White and silver? Cutie mark as a crown? A cross? A fleur di lis? A sword? A rose? www.google.com/search?q=chivalry+symbol&aq=f&sugexp=chrome,mod%3D14&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hl=en&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=9fTpUMeJFcSniAKejoHgCg&biw=1066&bih=516&sei=-fTpUJTfIuigiQKgx4HIDA I still don't know but if I figure something out, I'll let you know. Well that's all and I bid you all a nice day! *No, really. The plastic throne with the Dream Castle play set has a pegasus on it. mylittlewiki.org/w/images/thumb/e/ed/Throne.JPG/450px-Throne.JPG**Cheval means horse in french, y'know...

PS I just remembered... he can't have a mark... in my stories, the ponies didn't have marks until after they got to Ponyland/Equestria. Well maybe he could and his people get marks when they get to Ponyland.
