Suppose for a minute that G2 was well-received in the U.S. side of the pond and Hasbro had the confidence to give it it's own show. What do you think they would have done with it?

If Tales were any indication, I'd imagine this would be a slice of life show, though as to how much would be unclear. going off of Friendship gardens, the main characters could be Ivy, Morning Glory, Sweet berry, and Lightheart. For whatever reason, the general earthy and nature names has me thinking they'd live in or near a magical forest and it has some fantasy about it. So something perhaps like a fusion of Tales and G3, with the occasional adventure.

I was thinking along the same lines. It probably would have been okay, about at the same level as Tales. I've always thought it was a same that this under-appreciated Gen never really got a chance.

I own most of the USA releases of G2 and several of the UK releases too. I see something along the lines of Tales with G1 influences. There were the Winged Unicorns who could be normal Unicorns who know a secret spell that transforms them into Winged Unicorns.

I imagine it could be a fun little verse we could make. With your MLPs as a guide, we could construct our own sandbox to play in. Of course, that would take time and a concentrated effort, but the idea to me sounds fun.

I agree that would be fun. I think if Hasbro would allow us fans to constuct our sandbox to play in than I guess even the MLP Tals could be succes full. Plus I think each mlp generation has their own fancommunity.
