Long time lurker, first time poster. A dream about Rainbow Dash as a batpony of all things made me finally decide to join. I figured if I'm beginning to dream about them then maybe that's a sign. So far I have a few story ideas on the brain, including the aforementioned batpony thing.

I'm probably more of a casual fan of MLP then most. I have clear memories of watching the G1 series as a little girl and also collected a couple of the toys, so I bear no ill will towards the original series. I have no memory of Tales or the pre-FiM ponies, so I can't comment on those particular canons. And FiM is cute, but admittedly I like several of the characters more then the actual show itself.

Welcome. Can't wait to see your work. I actually like G1 and just finishing up the g1 episodes reviews. Also working on FiM at the moment during the week.

Yes there is. In fact G1 inspired my fan series "Magic of Ponyland" and a few of my power pony stories has some G1 ponies as rangers
