Well, I guess it's about time I joined!

EVERY time I post these days on the Arena/TP I seem to go on about the 'old days' of the pony community. Probably becuase I hardly take part in the new community, due to my being utterly distracted by vidya gaems and other uninteresting and utterly nerdy hobbies. BUT I DIGRESS!

The BIGGEST part of the OLD DAYS to me was how CREATIVE the community used to be! We had so many websites that read like fanfics, and people would create whole MLP worlds. There were huge roleplay communities and comics and... just... so much. Every time I see LM post on the Arena I see a link to this place and think "oh man, I gotta join there!" -soo, I finally did! (after yet another 'who remembers the old days, man!' post )

NOBODY here will remember me, haha. I used to go by the name of Ponyfeathers, before that I was Baby Gypsy and Baby Shady, on the old Dream Valley site and AOL days. Apparently I'm registered on the MLP Name Registry as Skyfire, but I've no idea what that's about, haha.

I used to spend alllllll my time on an epic world building fanfic... thing called the Chronicles of Equin. Hey, I predicted Ponyland by like 14 years! Equin became Equestria! And I'm LOVING the new world the show's provided us.

I never did publish the fanfic anywhere, and this new Friendship is Magic show has really made me want to try and work on it again. Sooo, here I am.

I'm now 28, still living at home , creating freelance art on the side of helping out at the family business. Hi!

Man, those were the days, right? Back when the US collector population every time a new UK pony came to light, the US and UK collectors freaked out every time a new German country was discovered . . . and then there were those wacky Dutch ponies!

But yes, the best part of all was how everyone had their own individual interpretation of Ponyland and wrote fanfic and drew pictures . . .

Am I correct in thinking you also did the Livejournal of "Dr. Why"?

Hahahahaa, sure did! I'm a huge Doctor Who fan, that was a fun, silly, at times stressful little project we came up with! I can't believe you know of it.

And yes! Crikey,"All is fair in hoof and horn." I really want to come up with some big way of tying ALL the worlds together, somehow make it possible that the ponies that befriended Catrina are the same ilk that currently star in the show. Fit in the G2s and flutters and just everything. Such a huge task though, but it'd sure be a fun one.

Man, remember when Dutch ponies sold cheap because people thought they were fakies? Or ARGIES for that matter, when they FLOODED the market and it was cheaper to get them loose than MOC!

Welcome! I remember the old days. I'm Sunstar. I've been around a while myself. I am ahead of you a bit on the unified ponyland font. I came up with Equinova. You can read about it on my site, Kingdom Lost. I haven't fit the G4 world into it yet, though. Can't wait to read your story!
