Hello~! ♥

I've been interested in My Little Pony for a while now--I started collecting when the G3 wave was released on 2003. Pinkie Pie was my favourite right from the start. I've enjoyed her pink-tastic-ness from the early dark-pink-with-light-hair version to the very nasal animated voice from the G3 cartoons to the hyperactive silly Pinkie Pie in Friendship is Magic.

I particularly love Friendship is Magic, and I'm so happy that it has such an active fanbase! I love being able to find all kinds of new information. I think the show is spectacularly done; I love watching it.

I haven't written any pony stories yet, but I'd really like to. I was hoping that hanging around on here would provide more of a push to start working on a project or two~

I'm looking forward to it! ♥

Pinkie Pie is indeed an awesome pony, especially when you embrace the hilarity and utter pinkness of her name and character. I love both her G3 and FiM versions.

Pinki Pie never was my favourite ponies but her G3 version was Ok for me as long as she was my most favourite G3 pony Minty's friend and I was really mad at Hasbro when it kicked out poor G3 Minty.

My favourite G4ponies are Twilight Sparkle and Rarity but I feel sorry for Pinkie Pie because she's family is ignoring her.

I understand what you mean about Minty, Bright Glow. Minty is my husband's favourite pony, and he likes to make sad comments about Hasbro sending Minty to the glue factory or taking her out back and shooting her. ;_; She had her own Christmas special, for goodness sakes, and then they totally removed her! I'd love to see her show up again, even as a background character. When we watch Friendship is Magic he's always scouring the background ponies for one that could possibly be Minty, just in case she returns in some form. Minty was so cute and fun, and her sock addiction was always hilarious.

They probably removed her because of the socks. G3s were not meant to have individual personalities; they were all part of a giant collective of tea parties, squeaky voices, random laughter, and conformity. Anyone who could be construed as having a personal quirk had to go.

I mean, just look at the Core 7. Even Rainbow Dash had lost her normal speech patterns by then. *headshake*

Welcome! I'm more into the G1 and G2 worlds myself. I hated G3 Pinkie Pie, but I love G4 Pinkie Pie. She's the comic relief. The way she is able to appear every where on the show has led me to think Pinkie Pie has a secret ability to wink.
